Probably because he hasn't gone 2 innings all season.

He actually did.

The switcharoo pushing Brantley to 2 and Bregs down to 3 produced…. 0 for 9.

and we still dropped 8… with only 3 XBHs.

glad to finally have some timely hitting

Great comeback win. Scoring runs without the HRs was huge, but still a B effort overall.

Derek Jeter is really good as an analyst.

We hit at least 5 balls that were caught with their backs to the wall. Could have easily been an A+ effort.

Offense needs to jump all over whoever they put out there tomorrow.

let Urquidy attack. I don’t have a great feeling with him against their offense which clearly doesn’t look like it’s going to take a night off this series.  Need JP and Brown to get a good night’s rest too and be ready to go.

Yeah, we left a lot of meat on the bone with the missed HRs and bad execution late in the game.

So do we start Urquidy vs Dunning/Heaney tomorrow?

Yes, and he's backed by Brown. Though I think playoff Urquidy gives us 5 or 6 quality innings.

It took the night off in game one and we gagged it away

Man I hope, but he seems like the kind of pitcher this Rangers lineup is going to absolutely pound.
throws a ton of strikes (but can’t put anyone away after getting ahead /getting two strikes) against an extremely aggressive lineup

Read that again

Yordan Alvarez with a multi-hit game to lower his postseason OPS to 1.615

Jose Altuve has more multi-hit games in the postseason since 2017 (32) than 25 teams have postseason games played since 2017.

Yeah - His fastball isn't nearly as deceptive as Javier's can be. But, if he can limit the damage to a couple solo HRs through 4-5 innings then I would take it.

These fucking umps tonight I swear to god.

The HPU favored his left side of the plate( the pitcher's right) by about 2-3 inches at times.  Scherzer used it more, which is a credit to Max.  Automation cannot get here soon enough.

Check swings should be reviewable.

Fuck the human element.  I want accuracy.  HPUs fuck up way too many ABs.

In ALCS game 3, umpire James Hoye (ranked 54th of 92) called strikes on 8 pitches outside the zone and they all went against the Astros.
