I don’t like Coug High, but I’m thankful to their baseball program gave us Julks. If he keeps it up, it makes Dana’s decision at LF pretty easy.

what if Meyers keeps getting on base as well?

Maton not taking a chance of being left off another post-season roster. However, this is his walk year, so he keeps it up he's also looking to cash in on the only big deal of his career.

Are we still firing Maton into the sun?

At least we know how to fix him if he goes bad again - break his hand.

I still can't believe that 29 other teams didn't think Julks could help their team.

anyone else mentally preparing for a Yordan DL announcement ?

Maybe they will activate Brantley and IL Yordan on Friday

Some of us have always been Maton truthers.

I was shocked the Astros left him unprotected.

Rangers are imploding against a shitty team tonight. At quick glance they’ve played some weak ass teams besides us. Do they have the worst strength of schedule through the first month of the season? Sure seems like it.

I love the 6-man rotation stuff that Sparky was talking about. Our bullpen was so dominant because they were the freshest of any team in the playoffs.

We are a Henley and Maldonado replacement from being a really good offense, even with Bregman and Abreu struggling.

Bregman ain’t struggling anymore man. Abreu fo sho is.

Me me me. Always believed in him.
or maybe that was Whitley. Or maybe Jake meyers. No, it was definitely Maton.

- winning road trip v two best teams in mlb

- shot at winning the serious tomorrow

- the young players / scraps are playing out

- two solid starts in a row for Garcia

- keep the getaway win streak going and enjoy Thursday off

- were a day closer to having Altuve and brantley back

Two streaks killed.  Dubon’s streak alive.  Let’s give them a series  loss tomorrow.

Take the series tomorrow with Brown going against an opener.

5-1 against Atlanta and Tampa Bay would be like the 5-2 mark in New York last year that sent the Astros into orbit.

That was great.

Rag tag scrappy bunch

If you're gonna lose at home, might as well be to the biggest swingin dicks with the World Series rings

Good win, take the series tomorrow.  Very encouraging that Garcia seems to have it together now.

2 straight homerless games for the Rays.

Arlington dropped their 2nd straight to the Reds, 1.5 back now.

Bregman with a 960 ops in the last 15 games. His wretched early season streak is done and we have normal Breggy again imo.

Meyers OPS is >.900 in his last seven games

Not to mention the biggest swinging dick went home early and won’t play this series.  And the littlest big swinging dick hasn’t played a game this season.

Astros are deadly again.

Was out this evening so didn't get to watch the game. Nice win. If somebody wanted to bet me that Meyers would be batting over .300 right now, I would have lost money.

That would be some funny funny shit if the Astros pass them before the end of April.

Well, shitty early Bregman is also normal Bregman

If they had parlayed it with Dubon over .300 and a 19 game hitting streak, you’d have lost your house.

Correction: it's 1.004

With the emergence of Julks, Meyers rejuvenation, Brantley’s imminent return and Dusty’s hate, does Chas get Willie Pipped?

Just about time for all them silly fucks who were talking shit about Julks, Meyers, Dubon, and Maton to step up and take their medicine.

Tomorrow, could be the most important game of this very young season. We win tomorrow and the rest of mlb ……

Meyers was pretty much everyone on this thread and last year's megathread.

Jake and chas better be looking over their shoulder, drew is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I got mocked plenty last year for suggesting Jake might be an answer and suggesting maybe it was injury related and be wasn’t worthless.
to be honest I lost the faith the same day he was adding the leg kick and apparently figuring shit out.
the best thing about meyers this year though, and what makes me think it might be sustainable, is he’s walking some.
I’m grateful for Julks start,  it I will feel better when he starts drawing some walks (which he did in the minors).
chas can’t get Wally Pipped at least against LHP. He’s an all star performer against them. He has to at a minimum have a platoon.
