Wonder if he's thinking it would be good for him politically/fundraising if they put him in jail.

Of course, we know he's mortified of it, so it's probably just him being an insane toddler.

I’ve seen this theory floated before. I disagree. He has no impulse control, born out of a lifetime of pampered privilege & an ability to intimidate & manipulate people. He is always certain the next con is going to work because they always have. He’s a self-deluded megalomaniac. https://t.co/ds778yVas6

On a completely unrelated note, as Trump is a germaphobe, does anyone know where the dirtiest federal prison in America is located?

I don't know if it's the dirtiest, but this gets my vote.

/yes, I know it's not a Federal facility.

I mean you really only fit one other description if you’ve worked for Trump and aren’t any of those things: fired.

What’s the theory? I mean what is his benefit to do such? He’s not getting a new judge and the higher court would t be favorable to him either as far as I understand.

“I actually don’t think it’s going to be very difficult. He is going to a very secure location.” You know you’ve been wondering, what happens to Trump’s lifetime Secret Service detail when he goes to prison? Here’s your answer. (Video: CNN)

That statement falls so fucking short of meeting the elements of witness tampering that it’s not even worth discussing.

Plus you know trump, as a former president and current candidate, will get a much longer leash than anyone else.  He’d have to state something bad outright, explicitly, and unequivocally, which he’s always shown the ability to avoid.

There are many ways to use silver as a weapon against vampires. The most common ones include imbuing with or crafting standard weapons out of silver. Such as swords, daggers, arrows and bullets.

From the replies, but actually a legit solid argument instead of a jokey one.

Lol 😂 Tbh, last cpl days I've been solidly in the *televise it* camp, strictly so his cult can have full transparency to it. Then I had a thought this morn: Jan 6 was live & televised, we all saw it, & it didnt make a dif. *Seeing is believing* doesn't work with this cult. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Beat me to it.

I was very happy to see that he pointed out paragraph 83 (7:30 mark), which to me puts to rest any and all debate about "what did he really know?" He fucking knew that he lost and he admitted it...just not in public. Of course he further demolishes that nonsense beginning around 15:30 with the "state of mind" stuff. I also liked the bit at the end re: Elias. That's a perfect illustration of how absurd the MAGA argument is.

Trump's case here is like an onion that's rotting from the inside: keep peeling them damned layers and it just keeps looking worse.

“Our Founders lay this case out,” says Eastman. “There’s actually a provision in the Declaration of Independence that a people will suffer abuses while they remain sufferable, tolerable while they remain tolerable. At some point abuses become so intolerable that it becomes not only their right but their duty to alter or abolish the existing government.”

As the article already points out, I love how this degenerate says "provision in the Declaration of Independence" as if it were a legal instrument.

The existing government during the attempted coup was the Trump government. They were trying to overthrow and abolish the will of the people to choose their own government. Which I’d say is looked down pretty unkindly by the founders

Trump lets the prosecution know the spurious grounds for his eventual change of venue motion. I will create the reason DC citizens can’t be fair with a proposal!
