Great inning, and play, by Sthele. Maybe Pierce knows what he is doing by sticking with him as a starter.

Ehhh. Here he is again, starting around 50 pitches, getting in real trouble. I still think he's a middle reliever.

I think I’m about done with Stehle as a weekend starter

He did a good job shaking that off.

Why was that not a ground rule double?? Or dead ball?

Because it wasn't over the fence or out of play and was in view. Not like it was lost in the ivy.

Stehle has really only thrown two pitches.  He needs to have a breaking ball that he can get over.  Three hitters are just sitting fastball.

Sthele has pitched better than i thought he would so far tonight. I'd still like to see him as the Tuesday guy though.

Which is why he is a middle of the inning relief pitcher.

but in Pierces defense he probably doesn’t have anyone else at the moment

Why does our catcher sit on a knee?

Tom Holliday (OSU color guy) just gave a perfect explanation of why not to do that right as Galvan  had trouble with those two wild pitches. That needs to be corrected.

Enough of this k out throw out shit. The fuck are we doing?

Why is Thomas stealing? I guess it was a hit and run situation?

Either way, disastrous

Totally fair. My bad.

It’s comical how bad we are running

Thomas isn't a speed guy is he? I don't know what was going on there.

Not  a hit and run, he broke back towards the bag (1st) then went on the bobble. No business running on that.

Serious question…why not just yank him after 3 no matter what?

Far from perfect, but Sthele has battled through 5 when he would have fallen apart several times last year in these same situations.

Alright. We are hanging in there. Now lets get this Watts-Brown kid out of the game.

I guess you could say he handled that well. The two passed balls killed it for him tho.

Big strikeout there to strand okie lite runner on 3rd base !!!  🤘

Weird swinging bunt for GG moves Powell to 3rd.

Come on Brown, get him home.

That 1-2 pitch to GG was a gigantic meatball, but he took just enough off of it

Come on Pierce

smh should’ve been made that move , hopefully it doesn’t bite us

Yeah, I think with the move to leave Sthele and then bring in Walbridge, Pierce is playing to win the series tomorrow.
