April 5, 20232 yr Oops. Should they not have done that? In all seriousness, this shit goes on all the time, for all races. Sometimes the company needs to increase their minority % and HR will only pass on POC resumes to hiring managers. Sometimes it's whites only. This HR person done fucked up and didn't review the posting before hitting Upload. If this goes viral, I'm betting that he/she will be fired tomorrow.
April 5, 20232 yr Here's how the interview started: And here's how the other ethnicities felt about it:
April 5, 20232 yr Lol @ [Don't Share With Candidates] it's a real life version of the recurring BoJack Horseman banner gag. Edited April 5, 20232 yr by TornACL
April 5, 20232 yr Arthur Grand Technologies, formerly known as Arthur Grand Dragon Tech until a bunch of snowflake consultants suggested the name be shortened.
April 5, 20232 yr The job posting is gone. The screenshot in the OP is from Reddit. I assume it went viral.
April 5, 20232 yr Y'all gonna feel silly when it turns out this is a dancing-while-biting-lower-lip job.

April 5, 20232 yr I still have the page up. It was a very real posting which was up for at least 45 mins from when Foosters posted the OP. What if you are Nazi White? Are you over qualified?

April 5, 20232 yr Maybe they mean albino only. Then it would be a minority, though not a protected one.

April 5, 20232 yr Before y'all all go fatwa on the company, it is a minority (non white) run company who claims a former employee copied the employment ad then added racist language. "This job posting was neither authorized nor posted by Arthur Grand or its employees. A former employee took an existing posting and added discriminatory language, then reposted it through his own account. The moment this was brought to our attention, we worked with the job portal to remove this offensive job posting. Necessary legal action has been initiated against the job poster." So while there is plenty of prejudice and racism left in the workplace, this company may not be a source of it.

So instead of admitting that their current staff are incompetent that they don't review the employer's job description before posting, they would rather admit that their IT security is so laxed that a former pissed off employee still had his LinkedIn access and posted this bogus job description in their LinkedIn account? Either scenario doesn't inspire confidence in them as a company who has their shit together. Arthur Grand, HTC and Berkshire are getting hell on social media because of this.

A gorilla could post on Indeed. You don't really need oversight on something so menial. Best bet is shithead ex-employee with a grudge did this.
April 5, 20232 yr Now they’re going to be forced to hire a POC, not only for that position but every opening for the foreseeable future! Good for whoever that winds up being!
