He's just not good enough to start Saturday games.

Yep. This is a Saturday recurrence. Pierce has a very good middle reliever/closer masquerading as a starting pitcher. There is a reason his average IP is a little over four. Sthele isn't a bad pitcher; he's just in a bad role for his game.

Pretty sure the scouting report wasn’t to walk dudes and throw balls into RF.

This team is horribly coached and just doesn't have the talent to win games. The players are stupid and what a pathetic display of baseball so far. There's no way we're winning anything.

Sound about right?

Somebody wake up Pierce

Well, now that we are down by 2, he'll get something cooking.

Pierce would have waived him.

If he can waive guys, can O'Dowd be first?

What other good options does he have? We find ourselves in the same boat with LBJ. Typically is a 4-5 inning guy who struggles with control and can lose it quickly.

Got something going here

Woooo! Huge double by Peyton! Let's go!

Tie it up right here.

Finally got done with yard work and just tuned in for no out double. 2nd and 3rd nobody out. Guaranteed runs here right?

I'd probably go with Hurley, who has a track record of starting and going more than 4 innings. Sthele/LBJ tandem on Sunday, perhaps.

Great ABs by the last 3 guys

Geez, put that one in the dictionary next to hanging curveball

Texas lacks any SP depth without Witt. You're definitely correct that options are limited.

It it were me, I'd go LG, Hurley, and LBJ.

Yep; this is my thinking.

1-5 is pretty damn salty. Just need to find 1 more guy at the bottom of the order.

Could be Galvan, based on his OPS so far. Definitely needs to DH against lefties.

Galvan doesn’t have numbers but he just looks like a hitter. He doesn’t look uncomfortable at all in the box.

I’m betting he’s eventually a damn good hitter.

I'd love to get to the Wildcats' pen soon. Keep driving this pitch count up and score some more runs!

3 1/3, 4ER for Fajardo. That's how you treat a mediocre pitcher.

O’Dowd is a different hitter against righties.

He’s a middle reliever. Period

LBJ and Hurley are significant starter upgrades.
