Pretty sure the scouting report wasn’t to walk dudes and throw balls into RF.

Friday night guys find a way to give you 5 even when they have their C- stuff. Find a way Lucas.

I’d say we are working this guys pitch count well but I’m sure he will throw 130 pitches like Watts-Brown last week

Pete Hughes is Mr Personality isn’t he?

Anyone is a letdown after "warheads on foreheads."

Does the SEC Network have a commercial rotation of more than 4?  Asking for a friend.

This K-State starter is 88-89 consistently on the fastball but it’s an extremely uncomfortable AB for lefties the way he throws across his body.

Gordon isnt a texas quality pitcher

Annnnnd suddenly he looks like Sandy Koufax, like clockwork.

Can you say something about how good their pitcher looks?

Gordon found his groove.

Gordon K’s the side T4.

Impossible. I was just told how bad he is.

If they can put that shift on for you and you are not a slugging percentage guy, you are probably doing something wrong.

O needs to go pick up Lucas tonight.

Found a way.

They will throw Neighbors for 3 innings tonight if they have to out of the pen. If we can’t score in the next 2 innings we are in trouble.

Zero offense. Damn

Should be a 1-0 Texas lead too. Gotta manufacture offense, somehow.

Man, Texas has a propensity to allow career games for opposing pitchers.

Nah, we were lucky they only scored 2. You can't put multiple guys on with no outs and expect to hold.

A good lefty is a death sentence for this lineup.

Our lefties are 1-11 with seven Ks.

After a big start to conference play, and a nice win streak, batters appear to be returning to their mean. Either that or we're facing a future Cy Young winner.

We are the most left handed heavy lineup in the Big 12 along with OSU. Terrible matchup.

Maybe we should start platooning ODowd and Carlson as well as Constantine and Thomas.  Pierce won’t do it, but maybe he should.  I don’t know.

We're gonna need to find some guts tonight.  Gordon found his and recovered to pitch as we know he can.  Now, our offense is gonna have to step up and find theirs.

This guy shut down a good LSU lineup early in the season (7 K’s and 1 run in 4.1 innings). It was only his second start of the year so he wasn’t stretched out yet or he would have gone 6 or 7.

It goes both ways. KSU has two hits, isn't really making contact, and benefited from six early free passes (three walks, three HBPs). They're fortunate Gordon was very poor early.
