I don't think the second baseman read the scouting report.

This program has never been elite under Pierce and it never will. Flame away but deep down you know I'm right. Getting embarrassed in the CWS is not Elite baseball.

So at this point the staff seems to be as follows: Reliable, know what you are getting and very few, if any, blowups: Gordon, Shaw, Burke, Tole Usually reliable, has had shaky outings but ha

Won a conference game without having to use Morehouse, Tole, LBJ and used Shaw for 1 batter? Yeah, I’ll take that.

Yes, but what kind of clocks do you own, bro?

The kind where you are underground looking at the playing surface?

Or shitty play by them.

Either way you don't see too many infield hits to that part of the infield.

I mean, first of all, I think he was out.

If he wasn't, it's because Baylor fucking sucks.

But his speed is fun to watch - I'll give you that.

Someone needs to crank one so we can really take the air out of this one.

Atrocious base running again. Per usual.

I hope Baylor has a nice life insurance policy on their coach.

Gordon has got to stop this tendency of letting a few base runners before getting serious.

Baylor is bad. But it seems we're trying to give them confidence. Slam the door.

Once again, runner on 2nd with nobody out? No problem for Gordon.

Maybe he just finds pitching with nobody on base too boring or something.

We are four innings into game 1. Plenty of time left to crush their spirit.

By jumping out to a 4-0 lead?

Garret with a lead off...something to get to 2nd base. Another RBI opportunity for pretty eyes.

Even that routine ground out looked hard for Baylor. Looks like my son's 12U team.

Garret on 3rd with one down.

We should get rid of the 3rd base coach

Right back up the middle? Appeared to be to the right of the SS

The 4-0 part was great. Now being up 5-0 is even better. The EK baserunning just seemed weird unless someone missed a sign...twice.

Galvan with a hit to bring him home. 5-0 Texas.

Dude is going to be so damn good (at least offensively).

I just got home and turned this on. There seem to be tens of fans at the game.

Literally dozens of golf clapping fans.

I think now I get why there aren't any Baylor fans at this game.

Their team looks like a bunch of lobotomized cattle.

Their coach looks like he could fall asleep and not wake up as soon as the car ride home.

And obviously they would never want to be in attendance to watch Texas win anything.

Shocked Mitchell Daly didn't get a hit with a runner in scoring position.

Rally killer Daly

Daly's worse than I was when I was in 9th grade. And I was bad.

It’s maddening.  Be aggressive.  The guy is throwing strikes.

Daly is batting .086 with runners in scoring position. It is like he is scared he might accidentally get a RBI some day.

And he hits pretty well otherwise. It is so weird.

Not really.

I hope we got smart and brought our own food so Rapelor and its cult members can't pull the same food-poisoning shit that aggy has pulled in the past. #MajorApplewhite

Well...like .270 or something

"Good crowd tonight at the ballpark " opines the announcer.
