April 17, 20232 yr Twolves GM needs to be arrested and charged with a felony for giving away that many assets for Gobert.

April 17, 20232 yr What's funny is that this is the exact series that he was supposed to be acquired for. Jokic has always abused Rudy. Look up "brother, i have 47".
April 17, 20232 yr During the telecast, the announcers brought up the fact that KD has only played 8 games for the Suns. That’s…not good. He also has to be one of the easiest players to incorporate in any scheme, but still. Sucks that the man has to play on the same team with Chris Paul.

It's not nearly enough time to figure out your teammates or for them figure you out. Basketball chemistry sounds like bullshit but it's real. The last play of the game where Booker got blocked by Westbrook... watch KD at the beginning. They are trying to get him the ball (I think) and they can't, so he just waves Booker on to take the shot. And then KD starts drifting over to him bringing his defender actually closer to Booker who drives to his off hand and gets blocked by Westbrook. I'm not sure what the fuck Monty Williams is trying to draw up there, but it's terrible all the way around - no movement (other than non factor Landry Shamet clearing the fuck out of the way), no screens, terrible spacing, confusion, indecisiveness. That's no way to try to close out a playoff game.

Russ doesn't like that nickname, and has been going at fans all season over this, even when he was a Laker. Kind of a running joke at this point, since he shot 3/19 last night and doesn't appear to ever work on his shot.

Hell enjoy the fact that your team just stole a home game from your arch nemesis. And you made the propable game saving play. Fans are going to do fan shit. Especially on the road. Go celebrate and get ready for game 2.

Russ, you just punked their franchise player, though I'll contend that was a foul, let it go.

Actually, I should have shown the beginning of this clip because they get a screen down low that gets KD free from Kawhi.... so they get the mismatch they want with Gordon covering Durant, and still fuck it up.
April 17, 20232 yr Also, on the Westbrook block, first thing Devin does is look at the refs, allowing Russ to bounce the ball off of him. So embarrassing. KD didn't take a shot the last five minutes. Should've been his time.

Apparently there is a shortcut through that bar area to get to the visitor lockerroom, instead of going through the tunnel to the main door. Russ did have a security guard with him though, so they do escort the players at least.

KD looked like he wanted to set a screen with about ten seconds left to get either him or Booker a three attempt. Booker just rushed it Edited April 17, 20232 yr by SilasCoade
April 17, 20232 yr Author Booker actually had a great look at 3. He should have pulled up as soon as Russ was on his heels.

Before OKC gets played MIN in the play in, someone joked about Chet playing since he was from MN. Then I realized what a horrible matchup that would be for Gobert. Then consider if Victor goes to a Western Conference team, there would be three teams that Gobert would struggle to stay on the floor against and they wouldn’t have to go small to do it.
April 18, 20232 yr I just looked at the 76ers v Nets box score and again, no Ben Simmons. I must have missed where he again got hurt. $35,000,000 well spent for a guy who played half the season, 42 games.
April 18, 20232 yr That should absolutely should be a Flagrant 2, and he should probably be thrown out for game 3.
April 18, 20232 yr Jump into a playoff game Curry running into a guy drawing contact and flopping on a box out under the basket, gets a foul call
April 18, 20232 yr I think Sabonis milked that rolling around on the ground like he was dead. But fuck Draymond. I just don't get how such a smart player continually does such stupid things.

And he's clapping and laughing after then screaming at the refs once they toss em. Such typical behavior from a guy the league never ever makes him pay for his dirty shitty behavior. And if anyone else tries to make him pay they will get suspended. Pathetic. The warriors suck shit through a straw.

April 18, 20232 yr Lol Golden State still runs and gets away with the most obvious moving screen plays Also the biggest non stop crybabies Edited April 18, 20232 yr by Zeus
April 18, 20232 yr Don't like it, but I think that was a correct call to overturn the Curry charge. Sabonis' heel was on the arc. Loving this Kings team though, they play some team ball on offense. It's great. Gotta revisit that Sabonis/Haliburton trade and say sorry to the Kings. They made the right move, what a great fit for this team!
