Avs lack of depth is killing them.  4,7, and 29 are gassed because they're always out there.

They just don't have it this year. Too many injuries, I think.

They almost look like a junior team at this point, with a handful of incredible talents who they play as much as possible when they have to, and a bunch of ordinary dudes rounding out the roster.

Jesus, now 2-1 Squid 3 minutes later.

Horrid no call on the MacKinnon trip. These refs blow.

Gotta keep playing stopping to make a scene by hitting the glass with his stick hurt his team because he wasn’t getting back on defense.

It's not the reason they lost, but the officiating was terrible last night.

Yeah, that slashing penalty on Tolveinen was a joke.

Or the 2 tripping calls they missed on MacKinnon, one of which directly led to a goal.  The slash was a makeup, IMO.

Good lord, the officiating is absolute garbage.  Ref just watched Maroon slam a guy's head into the boards from 5 feet away and it took the other ref to call it.

Wouldn't at all be surprised to see vgk be the first to punch their ticket to the next round. The jets are depleted. And vgk is too, but they're still a deeper team.

That said, i don't see them beating a complete team. I don't think vgk has the horses to go much further. But again, we shall see

Says she was so drunk that she started hitting the Avs’ team doctor. Not a good look for him but Russians will be Russians.

What the fuck is happening to the Rangers?? 0-13 on power plays and Igor is screaming at the bench for players to wake the fuck up. Such a drastic change in momentum from where this series was after game 2.

As for Winnipeg? Jets coach Rick Bowness, who is in his first season with the club, blasted the team after the game. Asked for his thoughts, Bowness said he was "disgusted and disappointed."

He was asked for the source of his frustrations.

"No pushback. But it's the same crap that we saw in February," Bowness said, referencing when the Jets went from having one of the best records in the West to losing six games and putting their postseason aspirations in jeopardy. "As soon as we were challenging for first place and teams were coming after us, we had no pushback. This series, we had no pushback. Their better players were so much better than ours, it's not even close."

Bowness, whose postgame availability lasted less than a minute, wasn't finished. He was then asked about the team's leadership core and top-end players.

"We got to push back. There's got to be pride. You got to be able to push back when things aren't going your way," Bowness said. "We had no pushback. Their better players were so much better than ours tonight. They deserve to win. They were the better team in the regular season. They were the better team in this series."

4-4. 10+ left.

Did not see your post. Into this game. Want the Bruins to end it tonight.

Will be a Game 7 in Bos, no pressure at all.

Did not see that coming.

I was surprised it went 6. Florida was ready

I saw it. Hard to be that dominant both regular season and post season. Panther's were ready.

When asked about the police report in his pregame press conference on Friday, Jared Bednar said he could not comment because “it’s personal reasons.” He declined to comment on if Nichushkin or the team made the decision for him to be away, whether Nichushkin violated team rules or what his location is. He reiterated a previous statement that it’s not a disciplinary issue. Asked why it’s not disciplinary, Bednar said, “Because it’s personal.”

Asked if the situation has been a distraction to the team the past few days, Colorado defenseman Jack Johnson said no.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a distraction,” he said. “It’s just (he’s) a guy we would love to have in our lineup.”

Yeah, not distracting at all.
