July 5, 20187 yr the iconic IceMan poster reminded me of my first basketball idol - Moses Malone. During age 11-14 in the early 80s, before Hakeem, there was Moses who played at the SUMMIT. This poster could not be more perfect. I was quite saddened by his death at an early age.

The Rockets GM and staff saw a pic of him pre-draft without his shirt on and he got the nickname “bitch tits or man tits” and that clouded their judgment even though their forecasting models had him being a great value and potential good NBA player to draft. They ended up drafting a bust instead and afterwards the GM instituted a “no nicknames” policy for undrafted players.
