Remember last year when people kept complaining about Faltine's k rate and streakiness?

Those were the days.

Well, at least Daly is consistent

Out’Dowd?  O’Dout? Pop’Dout? There has to be something there.

Let @zlavydra pick the name and he’ll hit .400 down the stretch while slugging like .450

O'Doubt.

At least Pierce has moved the lineup around and separated them. It was an automatic back to back outs

Do we have any LBJ innings left? Maybe someone can double check.

Look under the couch cushions.

We’re gonna need Hurley to his 4 innings of scoreless relief thing he does

Yep. So many rally killers happened because we would hit that part of the line up.

Time for Chase Lummus to save the day.

He's a soft tosser, but these type of pitchers shut us down for long stretches.  Why not them for once?

I'll go with O'Dud.

Nice job, Lummus.  Taylor looks like he might cry.

Good shit, Lummus. Now let's hit this shitty pitcher with the top of the order again.

Lummus is turning into a nice development

I have been a vocal Lummus skeptic, but the guy continues to get outs more often than not.

Excellent. Omaha here we come

Nice walk to start the top of the third. Thomas looked like he could have bunt for a hit up the third-base line too.

Thomas’s development this year has been incredible. He’s gonna be a serious stud for us the next couple years

Well, shit. There's the curve for a strike, and here comes another RHP.

Never seen a sidearm catcher but it's effective (against righties)

Really? Stealing with our first baseman?

I mean that wasn't even close.

Was a very good throw.

Yep. Those runs are on him.

Did he pitch enough to get the win if it went that way?

No.

SECTION 25.     a. For all games of eight or more innings, a starting pitcher must pitch at least five complete innings to receive credit as the winning pitcher. For all games of fewer than eight innings, the starting pitcher must pitch at least four innings to get credit for the win. Additionally, the winning pitcher’s team must be in the lead when he is replaced and must remain in the lead for the rest of the game.

That's what I thought.

Great play EK!

Ok slam the door Lummus. Get us out of here.

Edit: Ah fuck.
