Pulling a quality starter at DT out of the portal would be amazing.

Also, it must suck to be Cougar High and see Texas steal a win at their tackle box, have us waltz off to the SEC after their first year in the shiny new conference, and then take their two best returning players.  Talk about our feeder high school indeed.

Is anyone else super concerned about the locker room culture of our walk-ons?  This Reed Malphurs - Tannahil Love situation has the potential to turn into a deadly ass-cancer.  How long before the Aggies use this against us to recruit our walkons from under us?

no.

If Caldwell puts up his 2023 numbers at Texas in 2024, he'll be an All American. Gruntled.

The people rated ahead of him in the Big 12 last year will be early round draft picks in this year's draft.

What’s a good 40 time for Ryan? I’d say he’s gotta run the 4.6 range to get drafted.

He ran a laser 4.59 in high school with a 4.20 shuttle.

Some morons have no perspective.....Worthy is arguably the 3rd best receiver in program history behind Shipley and Roy.

maybe.  he was also the second-best receiver on the team this year.

What the fuck is going on here?

You were not part of the culture here at all. Actually the complete opposite. You will not act like you were part of this ride at all. Have some damn respect for the guys that did it right and actually showed up to work everyday.

That malphurs kid is a douche. He was not welcomed back and I hope he enjoys his time at the jolly fox in Huntsville (probably)

I'm shocked anyone thought he played with low effort this year. For a little guy, he played through pain and did his best to truck-stick bigger defenders.

Some people just hate changing their minds once they have a viewpoint.

Worthy is a lot of things. Being one of the hardest workers on the football team is one of them. Dude plays and practices his ass off

From Aggie 247.

- the Albany DL he refers to is Anton Juncaj, I believe.  Think the Aggies really wanted the guy.

- 15 out of the 18 Aggie transfer commits are ranked lower than Juncaj.  "Elko's cooking on a whole nother level," indeed.

In high school, CJ Daniels was listed as 5'11". He looks more like the 6'2" that he is listed at now. He also looks a lot faster than he was in high school. Is it legal to have portal guys workout? Is it done or is it frowned upon?

Nahlin (IT) mentioning FAU WR LaJohntay Wester as another possible option for Texas. Wester went into the portal back on Dec 15 and had had visits to Colorado and Florida St.

100+ catches for 1100+ yards this season

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/lajohntay-wester-1.html

Wester has a brother, Jaylen Wester , a LB also at FAU who entered the portal a few days ago.

Looks pretty good to me.

Ran a ton of really short routes (avg depth of target was 8 yards) and had a so/so YAC (5.1yds).

5’11” and 167 pounds.

Almost exclusively out of the slot that last three years.

And that listed height of 5'11" looks generous.

I’m guessing this is another one in which, if Nahlin actually has a source, it’s from the player/agent side.

Nahlin saying he'd prefer Wester over C.J. Daniels. I don't think I agree.

Sark: saving Texas players and FAU players from Tom Herman

Aggie logic: LaJohntay is just doing surreptitious recon for Herman to gather dirt on Cheater Sark for making him look so incompetent.

Can we please not have a LaJohntay and Johntay on the same team at the same position? I get a headache just thinking about announcers / media stumbling over that shit all season. Or likewise making the same corny ass comments about it every single weekend as if their crew was the first to notice.

Honestly establishing themselves as Texas's AAA team would elevate their program
