Democrats in Mitch McConnell's home state are pitching "Moscow Mitch" merchandise to try and capitalize on a bitter dispute involving the Kentucky senator over election security legislation.

The Kentucky Democratic Party said Wednesday it's launching the "Moscow Mitch" webstore in a dig at the Senate majority leader.

The party is selling red T-shirts for $25. They depict a picture of McConnell wearing a Cossack hat with the "hammer and sickle" symbol. The shirt declares "Just say Nyet to Moscow Mitch" in yellow, Soviet-style letters.

Excuse my lack of Civics, but how does the senate force debate on a bill once Moscow Mitch decides that the ends justify the means?

What a pussy.  All of the evil shit he's done and a nickname is getting his jimmies rustled?  Snowflake indeed.

Mitchie, Mitchie, Putin’s Bitchy

The reason it hits a nerve for him is deep down he knows it’s true. Cocaine Mitch was a joke to him. Moscow Mitch hits a nerve because (1) it’s true, and (2) he knows it will stick.

Has Moscow Mitch bothered to explain why he opposes the election interference bill other than his claim that democrats want it (so what) and that it somehow interferes with state control of elections (it doesn’t). All he does nowadays is get on the senate floor and whine for the cameras while blocking all bills.

That evil shit is being put on display thanks to that nickname, so it's understandable that his jimmies are rustled.

Still think he's safe, but seeing how much this is picking up, in part thanks to the Putin ally wanting to sink hundreds of millions into Kentucky, makes me think that Moscow Mitch is going to enter Ted Cruz territory and have to actually sweat it out.

I think the only clip I saw was him complaining that it's purely partisan by the Ds.

fter instituting a $1.5 trillion tax cut and signing off on a $675 billion budget for the Department of Defense, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that the only way to lower the record-high federal deficit would be to cut entitlement programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

https://www.newsweek.com/deficit-budget-tax-plan-social-security-medicaid-medicare-entitlement-1172941

And there it is ladies and gentlemen. After we passed these masssive tax cuts to benefit the .001 percent and large corporations, for some strange reason the deficit ballooned.

Who woulda thunk it?

Well aw shucks. We’re gonna have to cut social security, Medicare, and a whole bunch of other stuff to pay for this unexpectedly large deficit. It’s a shame but what are ya gonna do?

Sorry bout that folks!  Aw shucks.

Anyone who doesn’t recognize this is all by design is an ignorant sheeple.

Since a whole bunch of Trumpkins are old who benefit the most from social security and Medicare, I’m curious to see how this is gonna play with them.

On one hand, it’s clearly against their own interest. On the other hand, they are completely brainwashed by the right wing troll army so they may choose to dig their own grave anyway.

The owners, meanwhile, will continue not to care and will continue to laugh at them, and us.

The olds absolutely won't give up their SS and Medicare.  They feel they earned it, and a lot of those olds are absolutely terrified of losing their homes/trailers/whatever in old age.  A lot of them don't want to wind up as Walmart greets or receipt checkers.

And they show up to vote.

They’ll suffer.

And they’ll blame the socialist communist dumbocrats for it.

And show up to vote for Trump, who has promised to save them from the evil dumbocrats.

You underestimate their fear at having to go back to work and/or losing their stuff.

Trump played to that fear, but that fear could easily turn against him.

Pretty sure Brisket is right here. The conservative spin machine is unparalleled. That's why we are watching people lose everything because of trump tariffs and tell the news cameras that they don't blame him as they match off to the bread lines.

I would love for Mitch to fuck around with SS and Medicare, and see which of us is right.

No....you don’t want to see that.
People will suffer. They will be suckered into voting for the people who did it to them. And things will get worse.
Because stupidity has won.

Also, love @senatemajldr as his username.  Think he ever intends to answer to the public once that gig is up?  Or maybe he just views it as a lifetime appointment...

Whoops, don't really follow Kentucky politics, but perhaps I should.  And if I'm honest, I kind of want him to leave office like Hitler at the end of Inglorious Bastards.

Well, except all the ones who didn't vote for Trump but get stuck eating dog food anyhow.
