Let's say that things go right and we sweep WVU... what does that do to our RPI?

Without factoring in any RPI movement from other teams, the points gained alone from a sweep would put us around 19-20ish as things stand right now, so it would likely end up higher once you factor in movement from other teams.

If you want a kick to the dick, we would be 23 in RPI right now if we would have won game 1. One spot behind WVU.

Well we’d be in first place if our bullpen wasn’t a bunch of head cases managed by a numb skull

Is there any way they play today? Currently pouring.
Has tickets for tomorrow for my kid’s 7th birthday, and none of the friends can go today. And who would want to?

Radar does show that this should clear out around 2:30-3:00. Who knows how big of a window they would have.

Other than seeing Witt, and avoiding a L, do we even care about this game?

Eric Crawford on Twitter: "Stat of the day: For the University of Louisville's first 7 seasons in the KFC Yum! Center, home fans saw their team lose 16 times in the building.

Continuing to get Witt live action is definitely the most important part. Even if we only get 3 innings in before a downpour or whatever.

He needs to be able to throw one inning, go to the dugout and come back out. I’m sure the hope was he could have done it last week before his pitch count ended up being super high in the 1st.

I’ll also be interested to see if we get back to back good outings from Sthele.

Lulz.  Daly goes 0-2 w/ two strikeouts in a game in which the team scores 24 runs on 24 hits w/ 12 walks.

Completely non-competitive ABs as well.

SJS starter pitched 5 innings on Tuesday , when he lowered his ERA to 7.96 with his performance against no. 260 RPI San Francisco .

Three-run bomb for a .536 OPS guy gives SJ the lead.

Daly pinch hitting?

Carlson is swinging well, as is O'Dowd

Man he’s showing off some curves in those tight pants, a bit of a pretty boy. I like it.

I feel like we always have some good looking guys.

I mean, it's baseball I guess. (Didn't help @Fletch out)

4-3 after 2. One bit of good news from this weekend is that we've punished the lefties they've thrown out there.

Why. Why do that on the base paths.

He’s only been on base about 10 times. Not sure what to do.

Great inning for Tanner. One awful pitch in the 2nd cost him

Great fucking hit. That's earning it right there.

I'm pretty sure 12-9 isn't two games back of 13-6, LHN.

Nvm I guess it technically is.

That’s a weird sacrifice. 5 or 6 runs isn’t winning this game.

No. But they aren’t shutting us out the last 5 no matter what happens this inning.

And GG is 0 for his last 8.

C ya

Run margin helps RPI, correct? We need to pile it on.

I thought the same thing at the time, but you have two hot hitters coming up and stay out of DP. And it worked out.
