Do I understand this correctly that GD is the higher priority tie breaker than head to head in the WC Group Stage?

Yes

If current results hold, Sweden wins the group with Mexico 2nd.

If it goes SWE 2 - 0 MEX and GER 1 - 0 SKOR then Sweden wins the group with Germany 2nd.

If it goes to SWE 2 - 1 MEX and GER 1 - 0 SKOR then Sweden wins the group with Mexico 2nd.

Why isn't there a DirecTV channel showing a split-screen of both games? Seems like that might be a good thing.

It's all there on a silver platter for you Germany. 20 minutes to decide if you want to move on.

Germany will score.  Korea is gassed and just sitting in their own end.

Yeah, but Germany seems to be running out of ideas.

This Sweden-Mexico game is painful to watch.  Has there been this much pearl-clutching throughout?  My son's middle school team hit harder without flopping.

Which is why my Muller needs to come in.  With the play settling into the Korean box, Muller's poaching ability needs to be on the field.

I would think if you're a fan of Mexico, you're switching over to FS1 and hoping the South Koreans can keep Germany out of the net for 15 more minutes.

Not very imaginative right now. We look slow and highly predictable.

Why would fox put a Spanish announcer that’s rooting against Mexico on the broadcast?

Because they know they're catering to an American audience that's also rooting against Mexico?

i dont think ive ever seen so many blocked shots from defenders as I have with Korea today, they seem to know exactly where the germans are going to kick it, and these arent deflections, they are straight rebounds.... its nuts.

and the Korean keeper has kept it real clean as well

Our individual skill level has been very suspect today.  Easily dispossessed, poor passing, balls have not been struck well. What a mess.

I’m just not sure why anyone was so high on Germany before this cup. They have glaring issues that have been obvious since before this tournament. It’s the same issues they faced in the last euro but everyone seems to want to ignore them. They are too slow and they lack a striker
