Final Four in 2021 followed by back-to-back Sweet Sixteens and a conference championship last year. Yeah, the dude sucks.

They have 1 upperclassmen in their rotation and 3 on their roster. They were 19-12 in the year before the FF and back-to-back SS teams lead by Jaquez, Campbell, Benard, and Juzang (transfer). I imagine they will be better next year.

We might look the same next year with Weaver, Johnson, Johnson, Pryor, Scott, and Codie.  really need Mitchell, Shedrick, and Onyema to return and go get another portal wing.

Solid win.

I’ve always liked Cronin and have stated here many times. Saw his teams in person during Big East play. Always tough. I had forgotten the Final Four and Sweet Sixteens. Didn’t realize they were so inexperienced. Life gets in the way sometimes.

They hit double digits just before the U4 timeout after being stuck on 5 forever.

Zags/Cats could be an interesting matchup, sort of wished it was played tomorrow as a lead in to the Swift Bowl.

Don't look now, but Will Baker has 22 points at the half for LSU vs. roll tide. How is he still playing?

Army/Navy on CBSSN has been rather entertaining

Jay Wright doing the game in Lexington scoping out his next coaching gig.

This UK team could’ve used Oscar T this season.

Aiming for a third straight loss at Home. .. swell.

Horrific pass, whitey.

That was…yeah

Loss will suck but it's been an entertaining game.

Watching Cal lose third straight Kentucky home game since 1966 is so sweet.

Bizjack got some minutes for Butler tonight and played well.  Marquette still stuffed them though.

Vandy leads aggy by 1 at the 9:38 mark.  Vandy is 1-9 in SEC play.

Illinois leads Michigan, 80-48. The Wolverines are just insanely bad. Just terrible.

Fuck Juwan Howard in the goatass.

Made me remember he got tossed from Tech-Mich game at the Atlantis tournament.

Problem was Howard wasn’t even coaching. He was sitting out the game, and still running his whining ass mouth.

I always thought Howard was the most annoying of the Fab Five. I always kind of liked Rose because of his background and what he had to deal with as a young boy living in poverty. I still don’t mind him. I never rooted for them but, i didn’t hate Rose.

LMAO AGGY

That is a fucking brutal loss by aggy. 6 win Vanderbilt, hahaha.

Pitt beat UVa in Charlottesville tonight and broke their 23- or 25-game home winning streak. The Cavs were 10-3 in ACC. Really nice win.

Syracuse, a program that hasn’t been ranked since 2018, is up 6 on UNC with 20 seconds to go

I hope Syracuse doesn’t storm the court. They’ve won too many games to do that

Well they did, big time

Well they did. Let them have their fun

What if they said you can rush the court, but can’t video it on your phone …..

Would anyone do it?

Yup, they did. I’m not a big fan of that but, I’m not angry old man yelling at clouds about it.

Aggy fans whining about a travel on that last play clearly showing they don’t know the rule

Poor aggy.

Pete Gillen is an announcer for  CBS Sports network doing the Nevada vs New Mexico game. Dude's got the classic Northeast coach sounding voice. Just sounds like college hoops.

To a really shitty Illinois State nonetheless.  Radio guys here in Indy saying they don't think Indiana State makes the dance if they don't win out/win their conference tourney.  Not sure I'd be that pessimistic, but that loss is really bad.

Ohio State has fired Chris Holtmann, ending his tenure as the Buckeyes' men's basketball coach just shy of his seventh season in Columbus.

The school announced the firing Wednesday and said associate head coach Jake Diebler will serve as the Buckeyes' interim head coach for the rest of the season.

"I want to express my appreciation toward Chris for the first-class program, and the well-respected program, he has run here at Ohio State," outgoing Ohio State athletics director Gene Smith said in a statement. "He and his wife, Lori, are wonderful people. I thank each of them for their seven years here in Columbus and I wish them well."

Holtmann had four years remaining on his contract, which ran through the 2027-28 season. Ohio State still owes Holtmann more than $14 million in guaranteed salary, sources told ESPN.

New athletic director Ross Bjork will lead the search for Holtmann's replacement. Bjork will not officially start as Ohio State's AD until July, but the school announced Wednesday that he will begin an interim role in the athletic department on March 1 as a senior adviser to Smith.

Would be a great story if they make the dance.
