Enzo's gotta do better there.  I know it happened quickly, but he shot it right at the keeper in the middle of the goal, and still a yard over.  Any corner would've done.

Holy fuck.

I'm unable to watch because it's on USA.

Doesn't look like I'm missing much. I did warn y'all in the EPL thread. Forest is good.

We spent around a billion dollars on players and still don’t have one that can consistently threaten the goal.

Brilliant.

Yeah but Pulisic has been terrible for Milan.

I'm sure Ziyech will win Turkish player of the year or some shit.

Sanchez just threw an outlet pass straight into the back of a Forest defender. WTF?

Oh yeah there's also that. 1B and we don't have a fucking keeper.

I heard Boehly was shipping munitions to Russia. Let's get the rumor started.

sterling totally fucked that up and now turner has a chance for an extremely difficult clean sheet at the bridge

Sterling fucked it up? He cut it back and Jackson had a tap in from 6 feet out. The ball wasn’t as clean as it could be, but you absolutely have to put that on frame from that distance.

Sterling is the only one that seems to have any ambitions to score. He’s not perfect but he’s not the problem.

Sterling created an open-net tap-in.  It wasn't the prettiest build-up in history, but it worked.  He's not the one who airballed the alley-oop...

Very underwhelmed by the last half hour of that match. There were some solid moments in the first half and they opened the 2nd half reasonably well, but around the 60 minute mark they just seemed to lose interest. We spent a billion dollars and we’re a mid-table team at best.

Sterling has to lay that off to Jackson for the tap in. It looked like it was maybe onside and he can’t be that selfish unless he’s 100% to score.

Completely agree.  Raheem had another breakaway a couple of minutes earlier where he could've pulled it back across the 6 yard box.  That one was debatable, but the second one was clearly a little selfish.

Well we’re down to 10. I think that’s a fairly harsh decision. Awkward challenge for sure but it was bang bang and he got the ball first.

#194

He definitely got the ball, and he didn't go over the top off the ball studs up, which is always straight red.  But it was a pretty nasty spiking on the follow through.  I feel like a lot of refs think that's a red and a lot think it's a yellow.

#195

Sigh. I just don’t see a team built to succeed. Poch has to be frustrated as all hell.

That's the Chelsea season in a nutshell: free header goes 5 feet wide, and he was offside anyway, while 12 guys are out injured.

Reece James back in the news

🚨 Chelsea RB Reece James has been charged by the FA for “using abusive language towards the referee”.

This is fun:

Leicester have scored more Premier League goals than Chelsea in 2023.

Leicester were relegated in May.
