I'm amazed we got a point. They looked hell-bent on handing City 3 in the 2nd half.

Don't see confirmation, but damn this would be interesting.

Jose Mourinho could be set for a sensational return to Chelsea as a report claims Mauricio Pochettino is facing the sack next week.

The Blues have been poor for most of the season with Pochettino’s men currently 11th in the Premier League table – one place higher than they finished last term – with 12 matches to play.

Shit, I hate how this season is going, but damn it would be nice to get some consistency in leadership... :/

Can we sell Raheem Sterling already? I'd happily take a few blades of grass in exchange...

This fucking team. I swear. They are just allergic to any kind of prosperity.

agreed.  we are going to lose - or at least drop points - to 10-man, about-to-be-relegated Burnley... *sigh*

[edit] - and yet, still dominate pretty much every statistic.

These owners made a bunch of bad decisions in the transfer market and now they'll end up sacking a fairly quality manager because they have no other option to keep fans hopeful. It's really hard to see any sort of path out of the woods that isn't 3+ seasons away.

Up at half. Settle for a tie. And I would say we are in for 5 years of rebuilding.

I haven’t been watching so I think it’s my turn to sit one out. 5-0 now

Thank you for your service.

Dammit this is the team I expect.

Jackson somehow continues to find ways to be absolutely miserable in front of goal.

Mudryk is ass at set pieces, really any kind of cross. Yeesh.

Great job guys. We kept Arsenal off the scoreboard for a good 4 minutes.....

Fuck. I’d say “unbelievable” but sadly this is very easy to believe. What a fucking beating it’s been following this club as of late.

We had 28 points in our last 12 matches. That was Arsenal's pace over the entire season.

The Chelsea boardroom is full of imbeciles. There's no other explanation.

I was willing to give the new ownership the benefit of the doubt until now.  This is just pure idiocy.  We ended the season winning 5 in a row, with I think 1 league loss since February.  We lost 1-0 to Pool in the EFL Cup Final and 1-0 to City in the FA Cup semi-final.  We were playing exciting football and it seemed we were finally gelling as a team.  Now we get to start all over?  Fuck these fuckers.

Chelsea ownership finally did a smart thing by hiring a guy who can not only take us to the Championship, but who knows how to win it.

Been beyond busy at my new job.

Season was rough, but ended on a nice run when we finally were healthy.

I feel like the new ownership is just taking an approach of going after youth on the squad and in the managers office and trying to find a spark. I feel like Poch was just a caretaker between shots at young management and I'm sure that's what we should expect from these guys for the time being.

Otherwise, I do really like the squad we have currently and think we are set pretty well for the future.

It'll be really interesting to see how the entire EPL looks like in two years from a managerial standpoint with Klopp off this year and Pep rumored to be done after next.

They gave Maresca a 5 year deal with an option for a 6th, which I find completely hilarious. I’m sure there are clauses that will let both sides exit early once we’re ready to run him off in 2026.

Fun fact: the last Chelsea manager to make it 5+ years was Dave Sexton, from 1967 to 1974.
