Stephen: "take a message, I'm too busy counting all this fucking money"

We are as far now from that moment as that moment was from the Moon Landing at its time.

At least it wasn't 1939.

Fuck Jerry he took that team away from all of us old timers. Old timers that still love that franchise after what he turned it into perplex me. I would assume many feel the same way since we were use to living with a high standard.

I have all the pieces to a championship team but

why don’t these pieces fit?

because a substantial portion of our fuckwit fanbase sits around doing this all day thinking we're not a complete joke with a retarded clown at the most important position in professional sports.

Get over to the asthma field. This team was well on its way to bankruptcy and ineptitude when Jerry bought it. It nearly got sold by bum bright to Carl Icahn who planned to move it to LA. The great teams of Roger and Bob Lilly had devolved after the Catch to a team of Scott Pelleur and Toast Patterson. Tex, Gil, and Landry had all become cemented in their ways and couldn’t see the changes to come.

0-44 to Chicago in '85 and it wasn't near that close. It was fucking over for the Cowboys leadership, anyone that couldn't see it that day was a fucking moron.

Jerry came in and gave life to Dallas again. Landry at the end of his career was a shell of himself. I know the old timers didn't like how Jerry got rid of him but oh well. Pro sports is like that. Jerry's blueprint was great at first. Got a very good college coach that was going to do things his way. He was hands off and let Jimmy do his thing. They engineered the best roster in the league quickly.

Then enter Jerry's ego. He needed to be hands on and not a behind the scenes owner like most are. Him and Jimmy's relationship was beyond repair. Both stubborn as hell. They coasted to 2 more NFC championship games and a Super Bowl after Jimmy left but then it went to shit and we are now almost 30 years later of the same bullshit from Jerry and company. We are nothing more than a more shiny Detroit Lions now. Generations coming up who have no comprehension of how storied this franchise was for 3 decades.

Fuck you Jerry. And your inbred family.

So no complaining about a quarter century of ineptitude because you must be Jerry's puppet "Did you like those three Super Bowls?"  was the only thing lacking in your response.
