Well that was crap.

Liverpool’s title to bottle now.

Honestly it’s City’s to bottle. Won’t surprise me if they rattle off 12 in a row this spring to clinch it. I’d be more surprised if they don’t.

After watching Pool and City win, we roll that out there? Not great, Bob.

Disappointing outcome, but I had an unbelievable experience last night.   Took a stadium tour before the game.   Watched from the North End nosebleed, and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

👉 Arsenal 2022/23 after 19 games:• Saka (6G, 6A)• Martinelli (7G, 2A)• Jesus (5G, 6A)👉 Arsenal 2023/24 after 19 games:• Saka (5G, 6A)• Martinelli (2G, 2A)• Jesus (3G, 1A)That's basically a 40% drop off from last season which is quite amazing and worrying.

I’m sorry but chances like this cannot be wasted.

if we sign the right striker we are winning the league and/or the double/treble.

my fan fiction: arteta gets mbappe alone in a room and charms/punks all the bitchassness out of him, leading mbappe to do his best Henry impression at the emirates for the next 10 years.

77 - Arsenal had 77 touches in the opposition box against West Ham; the most on record (since 2008-09) in a single Premier League match for a team who failed to score. Blockage.

2.5 of that xG was weak shots, more like passes, directly to the WH keeper.

Having a second team of starters is kinda helpful when you get down to the last dozen games.

Jarrod Bowen has more PL goals by himself than Saka/Jesus/Martinelli combined this season

This stat, I mean… wow. Martinelli esp has fallen off a clif this year. Jesus adds a lot in a lot of areas, but we need a 20+ goal scorer up top if Martinelli, Saka, and Odegaard aren’t each chipping in ~ 12 to 15 a year. Henry scored 24 and 30 PL goals in 02 and 04, respectively.

That's awesome, man. Simply awesome.  A match at The Emirates is a definite bucket list item for me.  Thanks for sharing the pics.

It was impossible to get tickets directly through the club.  I signed up as a member (40£) and entered the ‘ballot’ which is essentially a lottery.   If you miss that, they have a ticket exchange which I was checking daily, but never saw a ticket come up.   I ended up buying through a 3rd party site.   It was easy, but not cheap.

Surprising. Very welcome news for us, though. A healthy Partey will be a huge asset in MF.

Comprehensively worked by a bottom half side that had lost three straight. This is just abjectly bad. Will struggle to finish top four if we keep rolling this shit out there.

Join Arsenal America every year. It’s cheap and they send you a little swag. They have helped me get tix twice.

We looked tired, clueless, and dejected. Arteta and the boys need to fix this shit real quick. We’ll be sitting in fifth or sixth with a few more of these performances.

More poor navigation of the Christmas/Boxing Day/New Years grind. I feel like Arsenal does this 3 out of every 4 campaigns. Wherever they are table wise they bollocks this stretch up.

I’m afraid we’ll be saying the same about the “April Swoon” when/if it happens again.

The desire for possession above all else is so frustrating. Every time we go up 1-0 early I feel like we are fucked because we will stop our attack and be content just passing around and not doing anything. Once the opponent goes level, we can’t find that gear again.

#828

For the final 28 minutes of the game, Arsenal did not complete one pass in Fulham’s box. How is that even possible.

Arsenal didn’t complete a pass into the penalty area between the 67th minute and the 95th. Their gameplan devolved into give it to Saka and hope. Their pass map is, well, maybe half a horse shoe. Piece on what went wrong: https://t.co/uS8uwvsuiQ

Sick of this Arteta spending narrative. He had to build an ENTIRE SQUAD. They’ll never tell you the difference between Pep, Klopp and Arteta in terms of *significant* investments (40m or more). Here are the players Pep, Klopp and Arteta have purchased for 40m euros or more:

we really could use another 2-3 major signings, particularly up top and in the midfield.

You can tell me this is Arsenal v Liverpool all you like, but it's clearly a Champions League quarter-final between Real Madrid and Fiorentina from 1999.

Arteta better find a fix during the break, because we aren’t finishing top 4 at this rate.
