  • That's not true. Chelsea has a £500m bench.

Disappointing outcome, but I had an unbelievable experience last night.   Took a stadium tour before the game.   Watched from the North End nosebleed, and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Worth every cent. What a player, what a difference he has made.

I think Partey starts on Tuesday

Idk… he looked VERY rusty on Monday. Hopefully we get up 3 or 4-nil and Arteta can  get him minutes in 2H.

Wasted chances, now a HORRIBLE error gifts them level. We’re going to have to dig deep; I’d imagine they will park two bosses to defend their point.

That was simply awful from Ramsdale. Is he trying to punish Arteta for benching him?

Ramsdale making up for it; what a save.

If we fail to score and get 3 points, he’ll get a lot of stick. But we’ve wasted plenty of chances, too.

So guess we will hope to see it....

ask him how he feels about it now!

Also happy we won so Ramsdale didn’t carry this one around with him. Good kid, a reason why we went from 5th to 2nd last year.

Tsamina mina, eh, eh, Waka waka, eh, eh, £60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again!!!!!!

Arteta on Kai Havertz:"If someone told me that after the first 2 or 3 months the whole stadium is singing his song with that passion, it would be hard to believe, but that’s what happens to good people and an exceptional player. It’s impossible not to love him." [Arsenal]

Kai Havertz has scored in four consecutive Premier League games for the very first time:◉ vs. Burnley◉ vs. Newcastle◉ vs. Sheffield United ◉ vs. Brentford Sending the Gunners to the top of the table. 🔝

Also, that should be the last match Ramshackle ever plays for Arsenal.    Arteta was clearly 1000% right in finding another keeper.

Liverpool 1 - 1 Man City

The best outcome possible.  We're tied with Liverpool with better goal differential and ahead of Citeh by one point.

Rooting for a draw is objectively bizarre while watching a non-Arsenal match, but I’ll take it today!

#1083

IMHO a city win would have left it entirely in our hands: win out and we’re Champs. As it stands we still need to win out and maintain our GD lead over Pool.

Realistically, though, all three will drop points on the run-in. A draw today at least has us infront. I think at the end of the year, we’re going to look back regretfully at dropping five points to Fullham.

Ederson is a major doubt for Man City's game against Arsenal at the end of the month. Set for 3-4 weeks out with a thigh injury.

Not feeling great about todays match.   It is going to be a bus parking time wasting clinic Im afraid.

Apparently the ref was given the 2022 CL Final, so it would seem he's no slouch. Hopefully he doesn't fall for the flopping and time-wasting shenanigans like the last one did.

🔴 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎 ⚪️🧤 Raya between the sticks🧱 Saliba at the back🪄 Havertz leads the lineLet's make it count, Gunners 👊

Just read apparently Arteta has never won a European knockout match at home.  Nice time to break that streak.

I can see us tearing out of the blocks; need to be careful not to get hit on the break. The first team to score likely wins.

Nine outfield Porto players in or on the edge of the box when Rice attacked down the left there. This is going to be hard for Arsenal. It's going to take a while. But having that many defenders back can be a double-edged sword.
