June 7, 20232 yr Fri - Sat - Sun Sat - Sun - Mon National seeds 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13 are already out. Oregon, Southern Miss, and TCU are hosting Supers despite not hosting regionals. I'm still smiling that the committee gave Southern Miss the nod over Tennessee.
June 7, 20232 yr Popular Post Posted in the other thread but deserves a shout out here as well. TCU fans donate to Indiana Special Olympics. Well done frogs

June 7, 20232 yr Author With our late start Sat, Florida and Virginia could both have punched their ticket before a pitch is thrown at the Sunken Diamond. 4 minutes ago, Cairn Horn88 said: Stanford 6-0 at home Texas 3-0 on road The irresistible force meets the immovable object

June 9, 20232 yr Man, cool to see Duke doing well in Baseball. From 1995 until this current coach got there Duke baseball was amazingly worse than Duke football with a scandal or two to boot. The field was a joke. They gave that really good Vandy team a scare a few years back until Rocker no hit them. Hope they can get it done this year.

One of the more impressive coaching jobs in college baseball having to build that program from the ground up in the ACC which can be a meat grinder. Miami would be smart to give Pollard a look as well.
June 9, 20232 yr Author Wow, back to back defensive misplays with 2 outs and Duke tacks on another run. The runner held initially and wasn't going to score if the SS hadn't thrown it away. Edited June 9, 20232 yr by WBT
June 9, 20232 yr Author Start times today are 11a, 4p, 5p, and 7p. With the west coast game in Oregon, it seems like they should have spaced these out better.
June 9, 20232 yr Author Sweet strike em out throw em out double play for Duke to end the third. Looks like he was safe on replay. Going to be 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs.
June 9, 20232 yr Not sure who else Duke had as a relief option, but that guy brought a gas can and matches to the mound.
June 9, 20232 yr Author 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Duke in the 8th. QB gets the hook. Edited June 9, 20232 yr by WBT
June 9, 20232 yr That was kind of a crazy play. Centerfielder drops the ball but guns out the guy going to 3rd who had to hold up to see if he would make the catch. Duke goes up 5-4. Edited June 9, 20232 yr by Valmy77
June 9, 20232 yr Author CF can't hold onto a diving catch attempt and the tying run scores And Duke takes the lead on a 2 out rbi
June 9, 20232 yr Author Infield hit and walk for UVA after two outs in the bottom of the 9th. This has been a good game.
June 9, 20232 yr Hell of a game in Charlottesville today. Two on, two out, bottom of the 9th, down by one.
June 9, 20232 yr Author Holy shit, 3rd out flies out to the wall track and Duke wins Game 1. Virginia batter thought he had walked it off. Edited June 9, 20232 yr by WBT

June 9, 20232 yr Author These coach interviews are always stupid but become extra bad when the commentators don't know what to say when the other team hits a HR Edited June 9, 20232 yr by WBT
