To be honest, I kind of wish that Villa completed the comeback and won yesterday. That would have put this game into a don't care category, which combined with the top of the table implications.

Agreed. Once they got the third, I was just hoping they'd get the 4th. Then we could rest folks. Get a look at squad members like Scarlett.

This Dele Alli interview dropped this morning. This is woah. What's happened in recent years? Addiction. But it's rooted in a lot of stuff. I recommend watching.

I'm not even sure it matters right now - City is running over everyone right now. I fully expect them to probably score in the first 10' today.

Where has this defense been?

We aren't pushing hard to get up the pitch every chance. We look much more measured.

Given that now we are trying a change, I can't help but think that City sat back in the first half to see what we are doing and that Pep was going to adjust for the 2nd half. We will see.

Well damn, now see if these guys can respond.

We needed Son to score his chance.

Said so many times this year. The guy has been nails, but could have about 5 more goals this year.

"The foundations are fairly fragile, mate" 🗣"The last 48 hours has revealed a fair bit to me" 🗣Ange Postecoglou was not happy after Spurs' defeat to Man City 👇

Pretty sure part of what he's talking about are the idiot fans that wanted us to lose to deny Arsenal the title.

Without the injuries we should have definitely been top 4; so not bad considering a new manager and where the roster is as far as depth. I expect lots of house cleaning. Let's hope Levy backs Ange this summer.  A striker is a must signing and I guess another back?  Anyone else with better insight on what we are targeting?

Paul O'Keefe obviously has some sort of in. This was in response to who we're looking at for a Richarlison replacement.

As Spurs look for a number 9 for next season among those under consideration are Gimenez, Toney, Guirassy, Openda and Gyokeres.

With Europa, we're going to have to use some young guys due to the homegrown and club trained requirements (Devine, Phillips, Donley, Scarlett, Lankshear).

Should also add that 18 year old Lucas Bergvall will join the club this summer. There's a good chance he sees minutes as an 8/10.

We've also been linked with Amadou Onana of Everton. He's a 6/8.

They like the Everton lad Onana

#thfc Son calls on fans and club to come together behind Postecoglou and says he is in “all in” on the manager’s project. https://t.co/so7V5uYBFE

I'm all in on Big Ange. Doesn't mean he can't look inward and improve himself. Particularly with how we defend set pieces and situational tactics. But, I overwhelmingly like our direction.

Now, come on City!!!

Dane Scarlett, Mikey Moore, and Jamie Donley all on the bench. Hopefully we can build a lead so the kids can get a run out.

As I reported a couple of months back, Ryan Sessegnon's contract comes to an end this summer. Spurs have informed the left-back, who turned 24 on Saturday, that they will not be taking up the extra year option on his deal. Those hamstring problems fragmented his Tottenham (contd)

Well, the daughter just moved to Hackney in London. Had to pick a club, she picked Spurs. Seems that’s one of the family clubs now.

Great move for a young person.   You learn a lot about life and failure and disappointment.  Ups and downs. Great life lessons 😀

Mostly downs. That’s what life is, a series of down endings.
