If it was actually 120 degrees in that picture, wearing black clothes is simply beyond stupid.

Saw a car tonight with an autism awareness sticker and a Make America Healthy Again sticker side by side.

Was it Greg Swindell?

We're making America healthy again by encouraging the consumption of more artificially created beverages with sugar in them?

Well, getting one bottom tier fast food chain to sell Mexican cokes and fry stuff in beef tallow is a pretty big public health win. But don’t forget dismantling and hamstringing all the actual public health infrastructure and expertise based on, you know, medicine. That’s a key part of getting healthy too.

Fucking morons. It’s just so embarrassing on top of the underlying horrror.

Health schmealth....french fries fried in beef tallow are delicious.  I support that change, universally.

But yeah, just more distractions and theater here.

Sounds like it’s not a replacement beverage either. You can probably get a fountain Coca Cola for $1.50 or a bottle of sugar Coke with half the volume for twice the price. I wonder what people will choose?

also, and I’m dead serious with this ridiculous question, as it pertains to sugar cane, did Trump slap a tariff on Puerto Rico?

No, silly, we are MAHA by switching over to an ingredient with an import tariff and a domestic production cap. Americans pay 200% more for sugar than anyone else in the world. US Sugar is undefeated.

Look, man, if we're gonna Make Slavery Great Again, we gotta get back to the basics.  Sugar, King Cotton, they will be the cornerstone of the New America in its Golden Age.  Maybe Trump will give a speech about it.  We could call it the Cornerstone Speech.

yes, because if there is anything doctors agree on, it's healthy benefits of sugar

Doctors are not to be trusted anymore because the medical establishment as a whole said Covid was real and the vaccine was beneficial/wouldn’t kill you. This is what much of MAGA and all of MAHA literally believes, because they have decided against all available evidence that those things weren’t true.

Appointing him is right up there with the most unfathomably stupid and destructive choices Trump has made. He is not just unqualified, he’s like anti-qualified.

Him and Hegseth are 1A and 1B to me.

And Linda McMahon as Education Secretary.

And Sean Duffy as Transportation Secretary.

Did I hear that this crazy man actually did something good?  Something about SNAP benefits not able to be used for junk food I think?  I've been saying that for years.  You want to buy shitty food?  Do it on your own dime.

Dude.  Don't trust anything these assholes say or do.  It's always about the grift.  The right food manufacturer pays $$$tribute, their food will suddenly be deemed health food.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday praised a company that makes $7-a-pop meals that are delivered directly to the homes of Medicaid and Medicare enrollees.

He even thanked Mom’s Meals for sending taxpayer-funded meals “without additives” to the homes of sick or elderly Americans. The spreads include chicken bacon ranch pasta for dinner and French toast sticks with fruit or ham patties.

“This is really one of the solutions for making our country healthy again,” Kennedy said in the video, posted to his official health secretary account, after he toured the company’s Oklahoma facility last week.

But an Associated Press review of Mom’s Meals menu, including the ingredients and nutrition labels, shows that the company’s offerings are the type of heat-and-eat, ultraprocessed foods that Kennedy routinely criticizes for making people sick.

French fries in beef fat are healthy as long as they are paired with a soda made with cane sugar.

On the one hand, generally agree… but the reality is there’s so many vast food deserts across the country, both rural and urban, where the only ‘food’ available is dollar store shit. Approx 40M Americans live in those areas per USDA in 2022

Yep. It's easy for a fucking Kennedy to lecture about it. I'll bet he won't be as interested in the details.

Caught a few minutes of some presser he was doing yesterday I think and the focus was on farmers and how partnering with farmers to close these kind of gaps was an essential component of the path forward. I think maybe he knows more about the details than you give him credit for. As always, RFK jr is like 80-90% spot on and 10-20% batshit crazy.

Ok fair. So the real move here would be to pass legislation subsidizing food deserts with healthy options. Lulz, ok.

I do wonder if the rurals are ever going to wake up to the fact that they have been shit on and abandoned by the very party they vote for with cultish enthusiasm.
