Woman shoots her Uber driver because she thought he was going to Juarez. What she saw was a highway sign on I-10 that said Juarez on it. Her first instinct is to snap a pic and text it to her boyfriend before calling 911. Boyfriend arrives before police can even show up.

His family needs to sue the f out of her and her husband. The Texas prison system needs to send her to a prison in Juarez after she's convicted.

I don’t really feel like reading the details- but wouldn’t there be a step before shooting to brandish the gun and demand that he stop? I believe he would hav stopped and let her out.

Sue her and get the murder weapon? I'm guessing there's not of assets.

sounds like something a beta pussy would say.

If only the uber driver had been packing, he could have blasted her first, as our founding fathers intended.

Damn near 1400 miles between the two cities, she's one helluva shot.

Hey, these ladies need a ride. I’m sure some of you have a car…

I know one Uber driver who could show you his.

First-why bring a gun for an Uber ride.  If you're uncomfortably riding with a stranger, rent your own car.

Second-if you've come that far, surely you understand how border crossings work.  Just because you see a sign for an exit, doesn't mean the Uber driver is gonna fucking General Lee-style jump the fucking Rio Grande.  You'd have plenty of chances to get out without blasting.  On several occasions, I've suggested to an Uber driver to ignore the directional prompts and take another route if they're new in town and don't know better.  And my annoying ass still has a 4.97 rating.  Sometimes they ignore me, and that's fine.  But I wouldn't open fire on them to prove my patriotism.

Third-we've now seen Uber drivers, Amazon delivery folks, and one of the food delivery service people all be shot in the last 60 days.  All those increases in insurance and lawsuits and safety protocol.  That all gets passed on to us.  Every fucking day the people who think they're for freedom pass along their bullshit onto us socialism-style.  Thanks a lot.  And also you're a murderous cunt who is ruining it for the rest of us.

Pay your freedom tax and shut the hell up

This is insane. She shot him in the head twice causing the car to crash and took pictures of him and then called her boyfriend before calling police. What an evil piece of shit.

You mis-typed "freedom-loving 2nd amendment patriot."

When the most glorified tool is a hammer, every problem is treated like a nail.  In America, our hammer is "a gun."  Logical results follow.

Some people feel the need to have their guns with them at all times. Everywhere.

wouldn’t surprise me if a lady from Kentucky was extra scared of being in a border city if she watches certain media outlets, and ready to shoot first and ask questions later if she thought anything seemed not right.

Zero - while I applaud the effort at logic and sanity, this person clearly had neither. End of story.

I get being a fucking moron from Kentucky, you may be a little on edge so close to Mexico.  I get it.  But how'd she get the gun to Texas from Kentucky?  And then, why is it always the people that can't shut the fuck up about how good they are at situational awareness and reading people, that do the dumbest shit because they actually can't size up a situation?  I mean, yeah the guy child locks the doors/windows, and starts speeding towards the crossing and evading the checkpoint lines, yeah feel free to freak the fuck out and start blasting DeVito style.  But you saw a road sign you didn't really understand and you're first thought instead of asking him about it or checking your phone or listening to the verbal instructions on his nav system was to put two rounds in his head because you thought some brown people were coming near you?  I mean, how do you get this far in life being so fucking stupid?

I'm sure she'll be pardoned by the end of the month because she is indicative of the victims of border violence.  Meanwhile there's a guy with a second job and no head

I cant wait to see if this bitch uses the same defense that brain damaged Dallas lady cop used when she barged into the wrong apartment firing away because she was so dumb she thought it was her place.    That "I thought I was in the right, so me being in the wrong doesnt matter" defense.

she thought she was being kidnapped and taken to Mexico... so anyway, she started blasting (WHILE IT WAS BEING DRIVEN)!!!

GD, how did I miss this gem?

You can now decriminalize activity by using your mind/thinking about it.

Yeah that's a whole other issue to unpack that maybe can help her insanity defense is, "Why would I open fire on the driver's head if we were going 55mph if I knew it could also cost me my life?"  I get the initial panic, but take ten fucking seconds and ask a question or check your phone's GPS.  It's pretty fucking obvious when you're entering Mexico, it's not just like this gate behind the Chick-fil-A you can be trafficked through.  I once unknowingly and illegally entered Andorra.  But to be fair, that place is just like a large walk-in closet.

Oh wait, I forgot.  What about Chicago?

Better, better idea. Do something about the malignant gun culture in this country and maybe a man providing for his family doesn't get killed by a woman with an itchy trigger finger.

Sorry friend. Every problem isn’t “gun culture”. But thank you for playing.

Gonna need to change the phrase from “see something say something” to “see something shoot someone” for accuracy.

C’mon bro. We have people shooting delivery people, Uber drivers, people turning around in their driveway, people that cut them off in traffic, whatever else. It’s becoming the first option for too many people in too many situations.

that’s a culture problem.

You are literally the most massive piece of shit. Anything to protect your precious guns.

If the car had flipped over after she shot the driver in the head, and then she also died from the accident itself---would that count in the suicide category of firearms death?

And another question, I never read the law 'cause who gives a shit anymore in this software program.  If you somehow get onto a plane from another state in Texas with a firearm, and you're not a Texas citizen, can you unrestricted open carry even if you violated federal law getting what was obviously not a hunting weapon into the cabin of an interstate aircraft?  I'm sure it's not specifically covered in the law, but they were aware that sometimes people fly to Texas, no?
