June 26, 20232 yr She's like Secretariat in the Belmont out there. It's like God said "let me build the perfect female running machine" and Athing Mu was the result. She gives good interview, too.
June 27, 20232 yr Love watching this kid. Great athlete and seems very likeable. It will be interesting to see how she does in the 1500.
August 28, 20232 yr Prior to the World Championships, she'd only run the 800m once this season. She also dabbled in a couple of 1500m. Personally, I think she was very prideful and arrogant and it cost her--she thought she was so far above everyone else, that she could skate and still dominate. Meanwhile, her two key rivals stayed focused and kept putting in that work. Both (Moraa and Hodgkinson) beat her today. They passed her somewhat easily on the home straight ... suggesting Mu didn't have her typical otherworldly strength (fitness/endurance).

September 22, 20232 yr She was beastly last week. Set an American record in winning the Diamond League final at the Prefontaine Classic. Pretty epic race, actually.
