July 9, 20232 yr Warm-up against Wales. 7 players in the starting lineup today that haven't played in a World Cup.
July 9, 20232 yr it's good to see them struggle in this match the us fed typically schedules cupcake sendoffs (see: 1998 Steve Sampson's 3-6-1 v. Kuwait) wales are ranked 18 in uefa and were in the last 3 out after finishing 2nd in their group and winning a playoff game
July 12, 20232 yr I would be surprised if this team doesn't have its worst ever finish in the World Cup (currently 3rd), although we are in the much easier side of the draw. Australia, Canada, England, France, Brazil and Germany are all in the other half of the draw.
July 21, 20232 yr GAME DAY! Or is it tomorrow? I am confused. I know the game is on at 9 PM tonight, but the game is technically tomorrow.

July 21, 20232 yr I wish there was a better game on tonight. Gonna see if I can get the Natitas on one screen and the Rangers on another.
July 22, 20232 yr That touch by Morgan was nice. I like how they're utilizing her. Checking up instead of trying to play her over the top. Vietnam is collapsing on her and she has the skill to play in.
July 22, 20232 yr I’d like to see Rodman get more involved on the wing. Vietnam is just absolutely clogging the center of the pitch

July 22, 20232 yr I’m watching this with my 6 year old daughter (her favorite sport is soccer). Such a great night in my life.

July 22, 20232 yr I think one of the frustrating parts of the women's game is that they rarely step to the ball on a pass. They seem to just stand, seemingly stuck to the pitch, until the ball and the defender arrive at the same time. The US women have lost at least a half-dozen balls in the first 30 minutes that they would've kept, had they just stepped to the ball
July 22, 20232 yr We need to work it to Rodman. She was crushing it the first 20 minutes but has barely had a touch since.
July 22, 20232 yr a spaniard and a morrocan? probably just going to argue about ceuta and melilla Edited July 22, 20232 yr by elfenix
July 22, 20232 yr Just now, elfenix said: did she even touch it? Still went for it. Otherwise the keeper makes a clean catch.

July 22, 20232 yr assistant director: should we show a replay? director: nah let's show some people standing around gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
July 22, 20232 yr Huh? Alrighty then. Also, laughably poor by the keeper on the shot. Edited July 22, 20232 yr by WBT
July 22, 20232 yr Nobody was offsides when the goalie punched it out. Seems like an easy VAR overturn.
