I think you are going to get a lot of this in the upcoming season

This Dele Alli goal against Crystal Palace from 2016.A reminder of just how good he was.

BTW - in case you guys all missed it, Dele Alli went to rehab this summer, seems to have sought out some therapy and could have his head right for this season. Best of luck to him.

Spoiler

I know the transfer window hasn't closed yet and won't for another 3 weeks, but fuckin' A the season starts in 5 days!

How about some predictions?

Liverpool's midfield will disappoint me...again.

Not nearly as much as our defense.

Prediction: Liverpool will lose a key player to injury and everyone at the club will be shocked at our lack of depth.

Can confirm, Christopher Nkunku looks set to be out for at least a couple months. Bit worse than initially thought. Absolutely gutting.

Brutal. Sorry @MoJames

You sign them and they get injured, we just don't sign them. Let's just agree to play our U21s on Sunday and move along.

Buried in a Guardian article about Saudi takeover at Newcastle, some staff at the club were making less than £9.90 an hour before the new regime.

I was naively hopeful that they could maybe make it to the 15 minute mark and still be scoreless. But alas…

Good thing we don't have Chelsea/Pool on TV. No one is going to want to watch that.

how do you not plop down the six bucks a month for peacock? Yeah, its a terrible interface and they need to also stream games that are live on network TV and they need a better toggling option between games, BUT ITS SIX BUCKS FOR THE PREM!

Easy. I got the annual subscription.

Exactly. I have the misfortune of following a club in the Championship. It is going to cost me $325 this season if I want to watch every Southampton league match.

Jesus this game may be the most entertaining soccer game in history by the end. Wide ass open.

First one to double digits wins?

I love English commentators, though... you wouldn't hear Troy Aikman call the time between managers/coaches as an "interregnum."

There isn’t a single person in Henryetta, Oklahoma who has heard that word.

Come on, Villa.  No one outside of Tyneside wants the Saudis Newcastle to win this.

Jesus Emi... stupid decision. Lucky to only have a yellow for that.

My son plays keeper for his team so he always takes the GK's side in any discussion.

Me: That should be a red.
Him: Nah, he got all ball.
