Should've had 6 if not for tripping on his own feet in SB6.

we are almost back to square with the dumbass HOF and their Cowboy idiocy.  Woodson better be next.

Did Lee Roy Jordan get in?

not yet.  Woodson, Jordan, Green, Martin, Newton would be my order but I could swap Jordan and Woodson.

I am really glad Howley got at least to see his induction.

with 26 takeaways behind only jack hamm for an outside linebacker in history

I did a little search here but did not find my answer.

When someone gets credit for a takeaway, does it include fumbles caused if they do not recover it themselves?

Obviously it includes interceptions. Presumably includes fumble recoveries.

Eric Williams was the best right tackle of his era. Totally screwed, the Reggie White eraser.

Without his car wreck he’d be hof. A mighty nasty mean but skilled player.

takeaway is interception or fumble recovery.  Howley has 25 INT's and 18 FR's

yep.  I have Newton on my list but he's not getting in due to the 213 lb marijuana bust.  that said, he appears to have done a complete 180.  Federal pound me in the ass prison probably does that.

That’s a bit more than 26.

It’s harder for guards to get in, even as good as he was, vs tackles. You gotta be Zack Martin good. I think Nate has rehabbed himself in the community and the league to maybe take that part away. I think the issue for Williams is simply short tenure. He just wasn’t the same.

If you looked up ‘nose for the ball’ in the dictionary, there’d be a picture of Chuck Howley.
