Of course there's a happy ending. It is Thailand after all.

Those days stuck in the cave were the second-most boring thing the soccer team has done together.

Wait, how are the divers getting the kids out without using Elon’s super sub? The divers aren’t even billionaires, so how can they be trusted?

BBC TV is just saying 4 are out and divers will take 10 hour break now to rest.

That might be the most holy shit thing I see all year.

I know someone who did something like that for fun. Google the “grim crawl of death” in the great expectations cave.

So are the boys strapped down to a gurney as in the first pic, or diving like in the diagram? Or just diving past the choke point?

They had to give a deposit on the supersub. Now they just wait.

Size of passage relative to candy bars. They know the American audience.

Maybe, but Mars bars? Who the fuck eats Mars bars in the US? Might as well use Chick-O-Sticks or something else equally obscure and unliked.

Rather, I suspect it's geared at UK fatasses, where what they call a Mars bar is identical to our Milky Way.

she wasnt that tight.

My bad. Spent too much time in countries that were under the crown at some point.

Disney already has it copyrighted and trademarked

This has probably been addressed already, but how did those kids get so far into the cave in the first place. Did they take another route there that has since flooded?

I think the rain raised the water levels behind them. They could only go deeper to escape it.

I know everyone is thinking it but god damn this movie is going to be amazing. I’m thinking Ron Howard.

Who is going to play Maha Vajiralongkorn, the King of Thailand?

Asia Argento

Crazy thing about those first two divers is that they had to initially expect to just run into a bunch of dead bodies in that dark zero visibillity water.

It’s all over the second they ride up Thai’s bucket

I haven’t followed this closely. Were there adults that assisted them in getting into that cave?  If so they should be shot for stupidity.

That pic was fake...i.e. not this event but some other crazy fuck stunt. And, yes, this movie is going to be awesome if all survive.

The movie better have sea monsters or aliens or some shit.

Also if any of you have ever been in airman cave, whirlpool or maple run then you know the feeling of going through that tight  a passage.  Except  not with scuba gear on.

In my fire rescue training, we’ve talked about having to take our tank off to fit through tight spaces, but haven’t actually trained it.

And Jessica Alba as a concerned bra-less mother needing consoling.

PS:  Idea for the movie title:   "Phuket,... Just Get Them Out."

my scuba instructor at UT died cave diving.

I've done a little spelunking over the years.  Cave diving has got to be the most dangerous thing you can do I know of.

But that's where the tasty fishies are, hmmmm, Precious...

"This is the most scary situation that a person could go through, said Anmar Mirza, national coordinator of the National Cave Rescue Mission. "You can't make a horror movie that would even compare... I've been involved in cave rescues for 30 years and I cannot even think of one that is this complicated."

"The trust factor between the children and diver makes it -- it's probably 90 percent of what gets them out of the cave," Mirza said.

Three kids and the coach are out safely.  Coach was in the worst shape because he had been giving the kids his food.

She could actually be helpful. She could use her horn to widen the narrow spaces.
