How do you eat this (technique?) Break it up into chunks? Whole thing like a caveman with a dinosaur leg? Do you put hot sauce on it? Mayo? French dressing? All of the above?
August 27, 20187 yr help a west coast brother out...the fuck is "shredding". Out here, we do that shit on a surfboard.

Out here, we do that shit on a surfboard. Shredding is rough cutting a field. It's like mowing, only with one of those big-ass tow-behind cutters and a tractor. It isn't as short or clean as mowing, but it knocks down 15 foot wide swaths of grass and small brush in a blink. We use it to create shooting lanes for dove hunting.

I didn't do the cutting here -- hired a guy with a 15 foot batwing shredder. But I've done some tractor time, and it's good stuff. Zen, peaceful, and a huge sense of accomplishment. It's even better with modern tractors with a cab with A/C.

Shredding where it's dry and dusty and you have a lot of oak trees isn't very zen. Last time I did it for a couple of hours I had a crick in my neck from looking back and forth at the shredder, and black snot for a day or two afterward from the dust. Better than desk work for a change though.

They crew cotton on it for years and we'd help his dad/grandad with shredding on the weekends/summer. Can confirm that shredding when it's dry and dusty is the fucking worst.

I'm familiar with the term shredding but I have no idea what crewing cotton is.
August 28, 20187 yr that's the specific type of cotton growing method used for making crew socks. since only your grandfather wears those anymore, and the land was unsuitable for anything else, it's been turned into tract homes and covert chevy.

They work great for filtering dust Cabs & a/c work better, keep rocks from knocking you the fuck out and keep dirt out of your beer. I do wonder where the term "shredding" came from. Around here it's just called mowing or Brush Hogging (slang brand name of mower). Never heard anyone call it "shredding" until a few years ago. I assumed it was a yankee saying. (no offense)

September 2, 20187 yr I'm drunk as fuck on the beach. The Little place down the street has a steak discussion. Steak and okra mofos!!
September 2, 20187 yr Steak and okra. I never woulda thought of it, but it sounds right. LIke really right.
September 4, 20187 yr Daughter’s dinner last night. Frito chili cheese dog. I feel like I’m raising her right. Also explained to her the importance of a paper plate when eating something like this.
September 4, 20187 yr I’m not trying to tell you how to parent but there doesn’t appear to be enough chili on them dogs. I’m worried about your daughters salvation. You can fix this.

September 5, 20187 yr Me and judgey-wudgey's daughter must be on the same wavelength. I like spicy mustard.
September 5, 20187 yr You and everybody else buddy. Get in line. I don’t do lines. Not when spicy mustard is involved. I just take what I want.Condiments or death!
September 5, 20187 yr I don't know man. Spicy mustard is awfully similar to Dijon mustard and I was told that only fancy motherfuckers like Barack Hussein Obama who hate America and probably weren't even born here eat that shit. We might need a ruling.

September 5, 20187 yr Sort for the shitty photo. GF took it while I was in line for a piece of this guy. Brisket, you need to come to Florence.
September 5, 20187 yr I suspect I would have enjoyed Florence. Also, there's a place in Edinburgh called Oink. All they do is a whole roast pig, turned into delicious sammiches. This is the view in their front window. I'm a fan. Edited September 5, 20187 yr by Brisketexan

September 5, 20187 yr I’m gonna cross/post this because. At “Il Porcospino” in Florence. Having a late afternoon bite. I order beer for me, Chianti for her, Bruschetta and water. Do I want ice? Yes please. I’m wearing burnt orange. This is the ice, I shit you not.
