Seems like there should be a hinge on there

Maybe next time I'll add some American slices. Was too focused on the rib part.

Also, I did a move I like to call The "Reverse Hinge" at your momma's house last night.

if there ain't mold on it, it ain't expired. 15 seconds in the microwave will bring that hot dog bun back to life.

What's funny is I did wave them, but they were still much firmer than desired. I ate them with no hesitation, though.

You put a slightly moist paper towel over those buns in the nuke and you’ll be good to go.

Too late, gentle eater. Note taken. (SS tips hat)

It's a giant crouton topped with rib meat, I say that's commendable. Good choice on the sides, always have hell picking from that side of the menu, always feel like I'm leaving a friend behind.

It was also National Pickle Day.

He has an old iPhone 6….and he’s also kept my late mother’s old iPhone up and running…..which is creepy, because sometimes he’ll be using it to handle emails that still come to her account, he’ll pop over to FB, and like or comment on a post…under my dead mom’s account.
It gives us a chuckle.

You like to think it’s your dad.

Wise man, indeed.  Much wiser than myself.  Also, I am a native of Lake Jackson, yet have never been to Lake Jackson Seafood.  I don't think it was around when I was growing up there and I don't get back too often.  Yeah, just looked it up and it was a Pizza Hut when I was living there.

Unrelated topic, but the El Chico days are numbered.  That was around when I was lived in Lake Jackson and I did not think it would ever close up.

Are you me?  I miss Cafe Laredo!

So, the latest dispatch from the boy’s grocery scrounging in Scotland:

Did he buy it?
Fuck yes he did.

I respect his intrepid spirit.

Is ender chicken pieces Scottish for chicken buttholes? Might explain the taste.

Agreed. I'm trying to figure out why we're looking at a picture of an ad rather than a picture of an actual pretzel dog.

Banned from cooking? I like where her head's at, first of all. She's clearly a go-getter with a lot of big ideas. Second of all, with some fine tuning that could be a hell of a meal.

She should invite me over and I can help her work the kinks out.

^^^ As a seasonal offering, I'm a longtime fan of turkey and dressing with whatever kinda cheese you got with a little green sauce on a tortilla.
