December 12, 20241 yr Yeah, next time slum it down with Wolfe chili instead of carne guisada. The idea behind this dish was NOT using chili.

December 14, 20241 yr I like Wolf Chili with beans…..sue me. Works great on my Hebrew National chili cheese dogs with onions.

December 16, 20241 yr Confused by the recent posts that read like the 5th string 7th grade QB who was demoted to water boy telling Vince Young how to play.

December 17, 20241 yr That burrito concoction looks like a homemade Taco Casa chilada plate. I would eat the hell out of that.
December 17, 20241 yr I think someone did the same burrito concoction with Allsups fried magic in a tortilla. GD genius.

I would eat the hell out of that. The Taco Casa one is basically the same as the late 80's early 90's Taco Bell. And was exactly what I was going for. 12 minutes ago, Al Czervik said: I think someone did the same burrito concoction with Allsups fried magic in a tortilla. GD genius. Honestly, thought about deep frying the burritos then just pouring the red sauce/cheese over them and broiling until the cheese melts. But they were frozen. Next time, I'll plan ahead and thaw them first. Edited December 17, 20241 yr by Jameslaw121

I literally did this last night for dinner, except I did not include the fried egg, mostly because I have no eggs right now. Now I feel ashamed of myself. I think I will be making a quick trip to HEB (assuming it is open) and getting some eggs.

As if guided by the divine wisdom of his holiness @Steel Shank, I did purchase a dozen jumbo eggs at my local HEB last night (by the divine grace of God @Steel Shank, it was open). Tonight I shall feast on leftover Mi Tienda pork tamales covered in HEB chili from a can, pre-shredded Mexican style HEB natural cheese, and some HEB hot sliced jalapenos, all of which will be topped with at least one fried egg. Maybe two fried eggs.
