March 31Mar 31 Today, we put together some "snack bags" that are given out at a homeless mission we work with. Among the non-perishable items we put in there were individual cans of vienna sausages. We had a table literally STACKED with cans of vienna sausages. Pathetic bastard that I am, my mouth started watering and looking around for a bottle of mustard. Instead, I added "vienna sausages" to my grocery list.

I've pretty much had to cut out buffalo wings, really spicy mexican or indian food. Even real bloody mary's with tobasco can fuck my stomach up. Even with the prescription for heart burn from my doc, I can expect to be in heartburn hell for 4-6 hours. I'll sacrifice for crawfish and when the Hispanic family a couple of houses down has a quinceanera/birthday party/graduation/death in the family.

Yeah, about the spiciest thing I can use without any side affects is the original franks hots sauce. I used to drown my food in some sort of hot sauce, but about 10 years ago I was under a shit ton of stress from work and personal life. Woke up in the middle of the night for about a week straight vomiting up excess stomach acid. What really sucks is occasionally something really random will set it off.

April 2Apr 2 Man. I love, love boudin. And I dig egg rolls. And kolaches. But the "boudin egg rolls/kolaches" trend just doesn't work for me. Doughy stuff inside of more doughy stuff. Each has their place, but not together. That said, I'll smash boudin on a saltine, so maybe I'm just a terrible hypocrite. Don't care, had boudin.
April 3Apr 3 I want my boudin crunchy on the outside. I want the casing to be real gut and to be cooked on a fire so it gets crispy. Steamed boudin? Just give me a bowl of dirty rice and some crackers.

Fucking pinche Tik Tokkers, thinking they invented shit that Texas messicans have been doing since the goddamned invention of fire. This shit is almost as bad as whatever epic dumbass coined the phrase "Austin-style breakfast tacos." Fucking hell. A kabillion Texas messicans are looking at all this shit and thinking "FFS, I had that for dinner on random Tuesdays in 1977 on a regular gotdamn basis."

I'm confident that the plastic in them is the healthiest thing about them.
