That’s the trash the team thread

Team played excellent all year, especially the defense.

I thought so until I visited the QE thread.  Apparently everybody sucks except for him.  Glad he brought half the team with him to the combine

Arch Maning: “Peyton and Eli didn’t have much swag, so I’m glad I get to up our swag in the Manning family.”

Legit giddy to watch Arch Manning as THE guy in Steve Sarkisian's offense. The efficiency, high success-rate throws remain but with the added ability to stress defenses downfield and with his legs at a high levelThe small sample of poise / aggression for a young QB was awesome

The first and last passes make me so happy to see again. Intermediate pass to Wingo, check. Unblocked rusher and he hits the deep ball. Cannot wait to have the deep part of the field open for business!!

Holy shit Arch is insane. Where is his ceiling

(he’ll never be the utter alien VY was, but he’s likely a better QB from the first snap as a starter)

It's football season right? First game is soon right???

The thirst is real!

I think today is actually the college football equinox. So for optimists, we're halfway there.

There’s a new book coming out about quarterbacks written by Seth Wickersham. Arch’s recruitment is described as being ruthless. The book is on pre-order now. I wonder what details will come out.

On one of the Monday Night Football watches, both uncles admitted that Arch was a better athlete than either one of them.

Our expectations will be more than met if he's as good or better than Peyton as a planner and Eli as an observer.

The St. Louis Arch is over 600 feet tall, if that helps. That's like 60 stories to you and me kids.

Texas Arch will have more than 60 stories by the time he is done here.

Spent time diving into Arch’s tape this weekend. Just building a foundation. Here’s a brief preview of what you’ll find in tomorrow’s The McShay Report.

Three things:

1. Didn't we lose a pretty good football player once upon a time to a pickup basketball game? Can't remember who or when...

2. Thanks for the videos. That fucking offense was purring under Manning. He spread the ball around. He didn't fuck around in the pocket, and the Sark offense came alive. He helped showcase all the talent around him

3. Maybe this might be a good thread to vent a little on Ewers...

Love the way Arch looks off safeties and coverage when given time.  Good frame too, if he needs to take off. Also, like that this team is starting off the season at tOSU.  That's the time to play the more talented teams and see matchups and what needs fixing.  What potential playmakers are going to start off the season, and what the lines look like.  Win and they're in the title hunt and everybody's talking about them, which should further solidify recruiting.

Name one time where playing Ohio State early in the season in the Horseshoe yielded positive results. Because I can't think of a single one.

That argument has always been perplexing to me too. Yea you catch them early, but they catch you early as well. That only applies to when you play week zero and your week one opponent doesn’t.

It's like in 2023 when we beat Alabama because we caught them early when they had only played one game, while we were experienced after having played one game

Do you think he would be in with modern replay? It’s close..I mean clearly in.

Kurt Bowls still wouldn’t vote for him.
