Some of the Longhorn players do, in fact, read Surly Horns, which makes the continual, most demeaning insults posted by that small group of so-called Longhorn 'fans' here even more inexplicable.

It makes no sense to root for a team when your chief contribution is to hurt it, but people often don't act in the their own best interests.

This. Let him take a break and to do so I think the staff should just announce he has some random physiological injury to help save him from the media fallout. If he personally decides to talk about it later he can, but it’s up to him.

lol you mofos. I'm sure ducking out to rehab? the rainforest? until OU would be super-relaxed.

You're right. The mods should definitely ban anyone who expects nice things to happen. /Looch

There's a big difference from posting criticism, which I have no problem with, and just repeatedly mindlessly calling our players pussies, etc.

That is what I am referring to.

Arch needs a new routine. Maybe he needs to get black out drunk and sleep with a big girl the night before the game. Wake up so hungover that he is unable to think vs SJSU and just plays football.

Wait. Players actually come and read posts on this site willingly, and not as some sort of punishment if they mess up in practice?

If you drop a pass you have to start on page 1 of the Quinn Ewers thread. That alone should shape up the majority of players.

Any game thread is akin to waterboarding.

I think once they reach page three they'll be asking to be hung up, sprayed with water, and electrocuted rather than continuing on.

Well I do love Duvet covers, especially the ones with the little velcro tabs that keep the Duvet from getting bunched up inside.

If they are willingly coming to this website then I think they should already know what to expect. This place isn't called Cheery Horns. No one promised them a rose garden.

Ha, don’t knock the rainforest, bro. A-Rod went on to win back-to-back MVPs following his first rainforest trip.

I had the yips with my driver for 2 months over the summer. I could do no right with a club that was usually my most consistent. The more I tried, the worse I got. Range sessions were disasters.

Gary Player won nine majors and achieved the career Grand Slam at age 30. He then had a case of the yips that was so bad, he had to completely change his putting grip later in his career. It can happen at all skill levels.

My friend’s uncle was a terrifying man. He would stop by our apartment in college every now and then. One day he asked me if I had a girlfriend. I said no - he’d sniff out a lie. He asked if I had a 4.0 GPA. I said no. He then replied, “then what the hell are you doing?”

*Small sample size alert* But looking at Arch Mannings completion pct vs. expected completion pct, we can see that intermediate 10-19 yard range has really taken a dive so far this year. Hard to fully operate a Sark offense if you can hit those 10-19 yard MOF windows

Hell, my driver was absolute dogshit just yesterday.

In the past, I've had the wedge yips for less than full shots. Anything I had to finesse was shanked, topped, or chunked. Very frustrating and debilitating.

My driver sucked yesterday. Missed several turns. May have the yips.

Real monkey paw shit to all of us who spent 2 years whining about how Quinn couldn’t hit the deep ball.

So we have a negative completion percentage >50yrds?  Interesting.

he is only above expected in the 20- 40 yard mark, deep ball is the only good aspect. Though looks like he is hitting 105% of passes -6 yards, so that is pretty amazing.
