I've seen enough of Dillon Gabriel. Here he chucks a simple screen pass way over the receiver's head. It's like watching Chuck Knoblauch trying to throw out a runner at first base. https://t.co/aUo8CjRNFK

lol what’s up with everyone this year? Arch started it but seems light he’s overcome it compared to the others this year.

It’s the jab!

I don't know which Arch we are going to see today. I am hoping to see him improve his accuracy in the intermediate game today, as I don't think we will have too much success with the lateral passes against UGA.

Yeah why he want to stay? No running backs just him?

Where’s he going? Ole miss?  Stay. Get some talent around him. Maybe an OL or two.  He was our best player on offense again

He should transfer to Georgia Tech. I think replacing Haynes King in that offense would be perfect for his skillset

If he was going to transfer he would have much better options.

I thought Arch played really well today. Probably last on the reasons why we lost

Arch was fine today. Finally when our offensive line and Arch get their shit together everyone else decided to shit the bed.

Arch was rough to start the season, but he has consistently been the best player on offense recently. One of the only bright spots on that side of the ball.

Hard to pin the early season struggles on Arch, given Sark and Flood's OL malpractice, Sark's shitty game plans, plus Sark limiting full speed and contact game situations in practice/scrimmages.

You forgot player development.  At this point it is clear this is not a thing they do with any offensive players.

Well, Arch has improved. So one person is developing.

Oooorr the idiot calling plays started finally adjusting his game plan to the capability of his players, finally.

Dirting throws and missing simple slants wasn’t scheme related. That part has improved. Overall I agree with your development point.

Wondering what reasons there are for Arch to stick around next year. Every single player Sark and Flood have put on the field has been a non factor or a disspointment. Except Moore and Mosely, I guess.

If I am Arch, why am I excited for this team next season?

#9031

I’m thinking/hoping this shitty season crushes Sarks NFL hopes and complacency from the last 2 years and he kills it in the portal out of desperation. Wishful thinking I know

Ive said it here that I hope, for that young man's future and career, he does transfer if Sark returns.

He should if Sark returns. It's the best for him.

And when he goes ape shit awesome for a real fucking coach it will absolutely be the nail in the coffin for Sark when he shits the bed next year.

The same reason you'll be excited for this team next season.

It's so funny how even our own fanbase treats Arch like a professional free agent.

Arch Manning is a Longhorn. He attends the University of Texas. He's on year 3 of living in Austin, his younger brother is a Horn, his closest friends are Horns. He will get his degree from UT.

Considering how fucked modern college football is these days, try to enjoy the fact that Arch is an old school student-athlete and loyal to Texas.

Did you know Michael Dell was a student at Texas living in a dorm when he started up his business. It started going well and he dropped out of school to become one of the richest people in the world.

If during college I could have transferred to a different University with the possibility of becoming a millionaire because the other school offered a career path that allowed such, I would have been a little sad, then packed my shit.

It's like you aren't even aware of NIL or NFL QB salaries.

How does that apply to Arch Manning?

He’s making zero dollars here. Just in it for the love of the university.

Come on man, you know that's a bullshit example.

Arch has massively improved, but he also has a grandfather in the college football Hall of Fame, a Super Bowl/MVP winning uncle in the college and NFL Hall of Fames, and another uncle with multiple Super Bowl/MVP titles. All at his position.

The rest of the offense are getting their advice from Sark and their position coaches with limited improvement this season to show for it.

Only a fool would conclude Arch's improvement is solely due to Sark/Milwee and discount all the other advice Arch has from his family of star quarterbacks.

Well I didn’t do that so

You quite clearly cited Arch's development as an example of Sark developing offensive players.

@BurntEyes says Sark doesn't develop players. You cite Arch's development in rebuttal, clearly attributing it to Sark and his staff.

#9043

Arch would you like to come back to a team with a rebuilding offensive line, wr with the dropsies, no running game, backup tight ends that are terrible  and a coach that is truly lost?

Really going to test his Longhorn love IMHO.  I get that he loves it here, etc, but I can definitely see a business decision being made.

#9044

he played great yesterday, especially in the first half. some of those throws sidearm on crossers while under duress were impressive. he isn't one of the problems any longer. its clear who is the problem and has been since when we rolled out a half baked offensive gameplan that puts our underdeveloped players in bad positions.

#9046

Arch has improved slightly, but I still cannot figure out why Texas cannot find a quarterback that can hit a fucking deep ball. I watched the quarterback from Old Dominion University on Thursday night connect with deep shots, but we are still missing and throwing high the deep balls that massive overthrow a more would’ve been a touchdown how many overthrown deep balls has he had this year? I can’t remember the last time a Texas quarterback could connect on a deep ball.

our gameplans are not half baked.  they are fully baked.  the problem is every party is a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.

Because our HC and QB coach teach shitty throwing technique

Yeah I think he can get there after ~3 years on an NFL practice squad. At the end of the day, the NFL still wants nothing more than a Manning to be a starting QB somewhere, so they'll give him all the time/chances in the world to develop.

NFL practice squad?
