UTEP sat in a 3 high shell all game and Texas still hade issues gaining consistent yards. Arch is playing like ass but teams are not punishing the run game because they don’t have to respect the passing game there just beating Texas at the line. I disagree. They may show light boxes but there had been great focus on our run game. My main point is that Arch’s incompetence thru 3 games is the reason for a meager ypc, and not our OL. Some may disagree. Glad he seems to have fixed some things. Yeah, competition, but his throws are different. And with these results you can see the running game opening up.
September 21Sep 21 Popular Post Arch's performance tonight was so shitty, they had to pull him half way through the third quarter.
September 21Sep 21 Sam Houston. Florida won’t be nearly as forgiving. He played like shit for three games. It’s gonna take three good ones before I buy back in.

It's worrisome that at any random time, Bizarro Arch might appear, but the fact that it's not something in which he's still stuck is a positive sign. And also probably good for everyone's mental health heading into a bye week.

The second game you count he scored 5 tds. Sure, one dumb throw for an int, but that’s hardly “playing like shit”. You seem like you don’t know how to have a good time

It’s a different person flipping the switch wise. This is a true test of Sark’s creativity on offense but also knowing when to support and when to let him rip. Arch is mentally sound he just needs to be Arch. Let Arch be Arch man.

The defense deserves most the credit for that games score, and we can't expect to get gifts like that in conference play. Stoked to see Arch shake some monkeys off his back. We need him to be good.

Here’s to that trend continuing 🍻

September 21Sep 21 Or maybe Larch Manning-Houston. He'll be a bit bigger boned, better for taking those hits.

September 21Sep 21 Okay I’m at a huge family wedding and missed the game. Having fun reading all of y’all’s hilarious comments. Maybe I read them during the vows, haha.
September 21Sep 21 All the guy needs to do is avoid the stuid unforced errors. Literally a Shane Buechele season, or maybe a bit better, and this defense and special teams could carry us well into the playoffs. Y'all need to look at the shitty throws that didn't happen to see that maybe the fog is clearing. Missing a wide open receiver is bad, regardless of opponent, and today he generally didn't miss those guys, and in fact made a half dozen really nice throws (or more).

Amazing how if you type out a random word it brings an occasional gem I’ve never seen, I typed in exploding and I wound up going down a rabbit hole of exploding Disney princesses. Priceless. this is how I feel thinking I’ve made a good point only to have my comment quoted and blasted. 😂 me pretty much 90% of the time on surly:

September 21Sep 21 He looked really good tonight. Passes were on target and with zip when they needed it and touch when they didn't. He was leading the his recievers on all the throws that resulted in big plays. Not sure why tonight was the night (lack of a heavy pass rush probably had something to do with it) but I'm thankful for it. I'm thinking we'll roll Florida if he plays even half as well as tonight. The big test will be OU because they will pressure him like crazy.
September 21Sep 21 Was at the game. Arch made good throws on time and made good reads. The only complaint I had was on the drive when we kicked the first field goal. As he was scrambling he missed a wide open receiver, I cannot remember who it was, under the field goal. Other than that I'm happy as shit with his performance.

That pass to Moore was beautiful and hopefully a very good sign of things to come.

September 21Sep 21 Popular Post This kid is fucking sick. He's our best talent since Vince. I'm sorry that some of you dipshits can't see it and want to jack your dicks to every incompletion and misplaced ball. Florida and OU are in serious trouble. We are about to roll.
