A special fuck you to the bitch ass pussies that have infected this thread for the last week. Maybe the most pathetic display from Texas fans regarding one of our players that I've ever seen.  Ar

Apparently this was a staged event. Genius move by EA. Also disclosed - Quinn and Travis Hunter got 6 figs for the cover.

Easy money. Good for Ewers.

Now how much did Arch make for his commercial with Uncle Eli?

Dan Patrick: Arch Manning Is The "Anomaly" By Staying At Texas | 7/18/24

The Season is MFI - Mucho Fucking Importante - for errybody.

This year, if Ewers falters - as in, being inaccurate or banged up, and/or self-sacking or unable to deal with blitzes and pressure - we'll see Arch, not Maalik. I think, sooner rather than later.

If Arch comes in, you can file Ewers under Wally Pipp.

Sark wants this year. We all do. Stepping into the secsecsec and riding into the sunset with the Big Trophy would - likely will, say I - be one of the all-time We're Texas moments.

Hook'em.

No, since we're now talking about 2024

On the other hand, if you're only pretending to be a dumbass, congratulations on a great job.

If Ewers falters, UT will not have the season it's hoping for with Arch playing for extended periods.

On the other hand, if you're only pretending to be a dumbass, congratulations on a great job.

Oooohh, the finger! Not just a dumbass, but a bad ass, too. I'm chastened. Truly.

McDonald's is going bigger than a Big Mac

The burger giant is pilot testing the 'Big Arch' in select markets

McDonald’s is hoping it can get diners back with a new big burger it has dubbed the “Big Arch.”

The “Big Arch” includes two beef patties, layered melted cheese, “crispy” toppings, and a slab of McDonald’s tangy sauce, the chain’s CEO Chris Kempczinski told investors during an earnings call on Monday.

The burger is a “quintessential McDonald’s burger with a twist on our iconic, familiar flavors,” he said.

The Chicago-based company said it’s pilot testing the beef burger across three international markets through the end of the year, with plans to gather those learnings and decide then whether to scale it globally.

Canada appears to be one of those test markets. In late June, McDonald’s Canada said locations in Ontario and Alberta would start testing the “satiating burger” until early August. Meanwhile, Portugal is also piloting the burger, describing it as “Mac’s biggest star” in marketing materials.

Meh... not a good product.  Hopefully the Mannings advise Arch to avoid McDonald's

So they brought back the Arch Deluxe with a new name?  Back when I had terrible taste buds and limited options in a small town I thought the Arch Deluxe was great.

Manning ain't leaving early. He'll play until his last year, just like his uncles. We good until '28 season and that's when Dia Bell makes his mark (or Trey Owens).

I think I read here that the Mannings have strong beliefs that college QBs should have minimum of 30 starts before moving to the Pros. Big statistical indicator for Pro ball success.

He could do that in 2 years of starts.

If he does then I wouldn’t blame him at all for leaving…

This thread being bumped is like the Willie Nelson thread being bumped.

The heart skips a beat.

I think we should actually hope he only plays 2 years.  It means he's had great success and will be the #1 overall pick.

Like another poster said, he could do it in 2 years, and I wouldn't blame him for leaving. I guess reading everything that his uncles and grandpa said about staying until they were seniors gives me hope he does the same. But again, I wouldn't blame him one bit if he left after 2 years with 30 starts under his belt. He'd deserve it.

Yea you don’t avoid the biggest brand in their particular industry.

Sark hopes more snaps for Arch in Sept. 🤘

Could a two-QB system be in the cards for the Longhorns?.

Despite the fact that he's not even a starting quarterback, Arch Manning is still one of the most talked about players in college football. That's the blessing and curse of being the nephew of two of the most successful quarterbacks of the 2000s and 2010s.

It also helps that Manning is a five-star recruit with massive expectations at a notable program like Texas. Fans want to see him play, but there's one big problem: starter Quinn Ewers is very, very good. He led the Longhorns to the Big 12 title last year and should have a long leash from head coach Steve Sarkisian.

Steve Sarkisian wants September snaps for Arch Manning

Despite Ewers' job stability, Sarkisian gave a surprising answer when asked what if he wanted Manning to get playing time this September: "Of course I do". Sarkisian said he won't force the issue, but it's a big endorsement of the newly minted second-stringer from the coach.

Sarkisian has also talked about how impressive Manning's athletic ability is, which could be underrated by some. Manning was an effective rusher in high school when called upon and is comfortable on the move.

Ewers scored five rushing touchdowns last season, although he did it on only 75 total yards. Manning could give them a boost in sub-packages, giving defenses something different to think about. That might be his role to get snaps early on before trying to make a move on Ewers' job.
