rewatch the tape.  his throwing motion has always been awkward.

Sorta awkward yeah but it hasn't always been so side-armed imo

A special fuck you to the bitch ass pussies that have infected this thread for the last week. Maybe the most pathetic display from Texas fans regarding one of our players that I've ever seen.  Ar

Sark doesn't really need to draw this up. Receivers are coached to sit down on their routes if they see zone vs man.

This isn't true. That's why 3 high has worked so well against us because our receivers just keep running and their secondary can just hand them right off to the next guy. That's what happened on the double coverage throw to Wingo. Downs, playing the inverted Tampa, ball hawk roll, took him when he passed into his 3rd and then the boundary corner picked him up when he crossed into his zone. This has always been a problem in Sark's offense here at Texas.

Arch could have the detonator and still blow it too late.

This guy has resorted to quoting himself. Damn

That's a shame

We've seen this shit before.  Colt & Vince each had a shitty year in their UT careers.  Hopefully this will be Arch's shitty year.

The University of Texas at Austin should be able to recruit a QB who doesn't have shitty years.

The pressure will be dialed down now. No more Heisman talk. Hopefully he will use today as motivation.

First start against #3, on the road. Y'all need to calm the fuck down. He played fine, he'll be fine. Stop being doomers

He played like shit.

But I agree that he'll be fine.

I would prefer it not be a shitty year. I'm ok with a shitty game.

He might be fine and hope he is but he sure didn't play fine. If he did, we win.

No doubt, I remember that Missou game in 2004 as the home game we flew in for that year. It was game 6 or 7 of that season and VY had more yards rushing AND receiving than he did passing. Considering  that was immediately after the shutout loss to OU, there was some cause for concern, and that season turned out pretty fucking good.

When was Vince's shitty year?

Obviously the Ohio State game will be extremely challenging, particularly as the opener for the season. Would love to have a warm-up game.
But one real advantage that could come to fruition is Sark having an offensive gameplan that the Buckeyes won't be prepared for at all. Different formations and routes and designs with Arch that didn't show up in this past Cotton Bowl. If we execute, I can see us putting up some points.
Having an entire offseason to prepare for that one game - and knowing the next 3 games are at home vs. pretty shitty competition - allows Sark to throw everything at the Ohio State defense. Can't wait.

Well, that didn't pan out as hoped.

The guy who lost $1 mil bet on Texas today should have looked at this back in January when it came out.

It certainly did not.

Yes, I know Sark shares the blame equally. What a shit-show

May be an image of 1 person, playing football and text

Really fucking tired of this meme's applicability to Sark's offense.

No shit. Dude lost 2 fucking games as a starter.

2 more losses and we can cross Arch off the greatest college player of all time list.

The years we didn't win a natty.  🤣

Decent comments on Matt Patricia's ability to make young QBs look really bad...  also said Sark is gonna get criticized for losing games against Top 6 teams -- said Sark is now only 1-8 at Texas.

Oh thank god. Arch threw the game to stick to the script. I thought he forgot how to pass a football.

Cowherd is a dumbfuck tho

What is Arch doing when he raises his elbows when he goes on the field, and several times while he's out there?  Is he just loosening up (more than anyone I've ever seen) or is it something he's wearing that feels like it is too tight?  Maybe try putting him in a tank-top ("wifebeater" shirt) and see if that makes him more comfortable?  I noticed him doing that last year too.  Maybe it really is that simple - get him a different undershirt.

Needs to practice in linebacker shoulder pads squeezed too tight so he can play in his normal qb pads

I understand that in the SEC things mean more, but I guess time passes differently because one game means an entire year?

You're right, it isn't always true. I shouldn't have generalized. But, on that play was Wingo supposed to run a corner? Based on Arch's throw, he may have expected a comeback with a sharper break to the sideline.

Agree we need to freshen the thread title up. My suggestion: Arch Madness.
