Translation: We don't want Baylor to know her injury status.

I speculated maybe this meant we have a diagnosis, but Rori and the staff are deciding on a course of action.

Hoping for the best. If we could just get her back sometime this year.

Only played 13 contests. Medical RS?

Well, crap.  Feel really bad for her.  She was absolutely tearing it up.  UConn couldn’t handle her. Crap.

Yes. I’m tempering expectations for the year. Injuries fucking suck.

When Gaston went down with an injury in the first scrimmage this season, I had the sinking feeling our injury woes from last season were just going to continue into 2023-2024. “Next woman up” of course but considering PG depth was our biggest area of concern, Rori’s injury hurts more than losing any other player on our roster would.

We have 31 games scheduled and to qualify for a medical redshirt a player can only have played in 30% of games. Rori participated in 12 so she’s at 38%. I feel so bad for her.

Time for Madison to shine at the point.  She’s a great passer and her shot is good. Amina and Shay can handle the quick guards. I’m still optimistic for the season. Overall the team is stacked with talent. Vic needs to make sure the kids don’t get down and instead rally together to continue their success this season for Rori.

This sucks. Felt like this was the year. This team could have easily withstood an injury to anyone else other than Rori.

I'm sure he's just devastated. I know how he lamented last season over all the injuries and it seems the team is right back where they were. They are beyond snakebit at his point.

Just such shitty news. Harmon was probably the 2nd best player in women's basketball so far this year only behind Brink.

Would need to get to 44 games then. Don’t think the opportunity is there.

Still worth applying for a redshirt waiver since what have you got to lose. My plea would be that teams play to win conference championships, and she suffered a season ending injury before conference play even began, and she played in 0% of those games this season. Give her the redshirt.

We’re cooked

ugh.  the one person we couldn't lose.   they are lost.

what the fuck with that call.  now we can't post up?

Fuck I hate Baylor.

Edited by dcar00

oh what the fuck with that flop. quit calling the bullshit.

finallly got a call they are allowing baylor to hand check like crazy.

we are done.  Booker isn't going to be able to play the minutes needed at PG.

Yeah, they're not done.  Lots of talent and good coaching can overcome the loss of Harmon.   Considering they're learning on the fly against Baylor, they're doing well.

Booker is incredible.  this is a 10 point+ win with Harmon and Jones.  really sucks.  Baylor not that impressive to me.  they face a team that can hang speed wise they are going to have trouble.

Texas is exhausted. Great plays on offense are instantly negated by poor defense. Not for lack of effort, just fatigue.

Valiant effort but alas
