Glad we survived that carnival ride without Booker as well as we did.

They really wanted the payback.

This will be a big win for Texas on the road. KSU up next.

Big nights for Booker and Moore

If we beat KState on Sunday, we may find ourselves back in the Big12 race. Tall task, even without opposing Lee

30 of their 57 fga were 3s, they got out rebounded by 6, and yet they shot almost as many free throws Texas, who shot 7 of 57 fga as 3s.  And only because of the foul fest late.

Can’t read

No Hadi, No Rori, Madi with a hammy and Moore with a bad wheel. No problemo.

We won big despite the Shays combining for 2 points. Feasted inside.

I'm feeling good about K State. This is the start of our revenge tour.

We ain’t out of it, that’s for sure. Big 12 race is going to be a war

First back to back wins in Waco since 2010? Nice to get the last 2 in Waco before we go

Yeah, even if we win that game we still won't control our own destiny, but it keeps us in striking distance.

Hopefully beating K State this weekend, I think we go on a little winning streak.   \m/

Vic might have found something with the zone defense.

I’ll be there Sunday with both my kids. Eldest is undefeated at UT sporting events and it’s my youngest’s first UT sporting event, ever. It’s a lock. 🤘

We were #4 in NET prior to last night so we will probably jump a spot or 2.

Our 3 losses include:

6 point loss to Baylor (no Harmon or Taylor)

3 point loss to K-State (no Harmon)

4 point loss to OU (no Harmon or Gaston)

This team is still really good but this season is going to be frustrating because of injuries. We would almost certainly be undefeated or a 1 loss team if healthy.

Sadly you play the hand that’s dealt.

I do wonder if we will start seeing less full court press + playing more zone to keep players fresher and out of foul trouble. Especially with a shorter bench.

I’d like to see how the zone works against OU and KSU. I guess we will see on Sunday. Not a bad time to try it out some more against a Lee-less KSU.

They also play @ISU on the 14th (thank god we don’t), @KU, against WV and ISU at home and @Tech.

We just need to keep taking care of business, hand KSU a second loss and see if they can drop 1-2 more

OU has @OSU, @ISU, Baylor, @WV, Texas, @KU

WV has @BYU, @Baylor, OU, @KSU, Baylor, OSU

I think it’s likely the Big 12 regular season winner will have 3 or 4 losses and could be a 2 or 3 way tie.

I think it has more to do with us not having the guards to defend on the perimeter without Harmon.

Our 2 "guards" right now are Booker who is more of a point forward and Gonzales who isn't all that athletic. We could not keep the Baylor guards in front of us in the 1st match up so Vic wisely adjusted with a zone.

With no Faye and Gaston only playing 8 minutes, zone also kept Jones out of foul trouble (2 fouls)

Having Faye back for KSU + Gaston available should relieve some pressure off Jones, but her being able to play 28 minutes without foul trouble is a huge win for us

Also big credit to Holle playing all 40 minutes and only committed 1 foul. Shaylee has a terrible game (0 points, 0-4 shooting, 4 fouls)

Just so fucking glad we beat the bitches in Wacko. Can't stand those bitches from Rapelor U.

Jak's length is well-suited for a matchup zone. I'm glad Vic bent a little and added it to their defensive repertoire.

I love Vic praising Booker with comparison to another Texas #35...   KD 🤘

High praise indeed and she’s doing it all as a freshman. But she’s being mentored by Rori, acting as an extra coach, so it’s really beneficial. A second year Booker and fully healthy Harmon and Moore next year - watch out SEC

ISU was upset by UCF today which puts us a half game ahead of them. Would be swell if Okie Lite could win bedlam today

Ok State up 41-33 at half

Why do we always end up befuddled by a zone like it’s the first time we’ve seen it?

Gregory, Walker and Shaylee all have 2 fouls already

And the jacket is off and was kicked by Vic with 44 seconds left in the first
