They count in conference standings but that’s it I believe

3 losses by a total of 13 points.  Big 12 opener without Rori (Madison's first real opponent playing full PG), in Manhattan and OU tearing our defense apart (with a 5 point margin that included 5 miraculous points by OU in the first quarter)

Bouncing the ball into the hoop was something I would attempt in a game of HORSE at the playground basketball court, but I had no idea it was a legal shot until that game against OU

We still have a lot of issues closing out on shooters

The jump shooting is not it, it’s e need to continue to go through Jones.

9-0 run by TCU to close it to 23-20 at half

This team cannot close out the TCU shooters and they can shoot it

This team needs to wake the fuck up

TCU is getting so many bonus opportunities and they are taking full advantage. Texas needs to get the 50/50 balls

Apparently every time I walk away, we go on a run. So…

Also OSU is giving KSU all it can handle in the third. Up 39-38

Edited by Js1

OSU up 49-43 now. Oh what a perfect day if WV, KSU and Ou all lost

Good halftime adjustments as Texas is doubling up TCU in 2nd half points to pull away and now up 22

Texas pulls away and wins 65-43

OSU up 66-64 with 2:11 left

Third game no Faye.

I'd get used to this.

That might have been the worst last shot play I've even seen.

Since the OU game the defense has drastically improved.

The team got the message but Vic also adjusted by getting more athletic by giving Jak more minutes. We had to get more athletic with no Rori.

OU has overcome Hilton Magic tonight. Damn

OU concluded their non-conference by losing to a SWAC team that is currently sitting 4th in their conference to looking like the inevitable winner of the Big12. They turned on the switch at the right time.

Nah, they're just the healthiest team.

Texas and K-State are the best two teams in the Big 12 with their star player.

It’s both.

I’m still convinced OU will have a couple more losses. I think we return the favor when we play them in Norman and they still have to play Baylor again and at West Virginia. Anything can happen.

To beat OU in Norman Vic is going to have to make some adjustments to slow the game down.
Without Rori quickness is this team's kryptonite;  OU/Tot ran circles around us.

One thing going for us is Vic usually learns from his mistakes.

Iowa and Colorado both lost today. Might be some opportunity for movement. Plus NC State earlier this week

We were already ahead of Iowa in NET before today's loss and we beat UCONN head-to-head. The only teams that have a legitimate case as a 1 seed over us are South Carolina and Stanford.

That OU game will have a lot on the line. It could very well lock in a 1 seed with a win.

I meant poll movement.  We actually did bump up to #3 in NET over UConn.

First committee reveal is Thursday night. Texas should have trounced UH on Wednesday and be somewhere in the 4-6 range.  It would be nice this week if Arizona picked up a win @ USC, Baylor picked up a win @ OU and ND picks up a win hosting NC State.   Texas needs to take care of business Saturday hosting Iowa State.

Only 6 regular season games left.

Back in the top 5, just behind Iowa and ahead of NC State

KSU 7

UConn 15

Baylor 21

OU 23

WV 24

Also for @Pancho, Crème now has us the #2 seed matched with Stanford. We will see if there’s a chance we take NC State’s seed in this week’s bracket

Just keep us out of Dawn's bracket please.

I saw that a few days ago. I’d rather be paired with NC State or Iowa 😬

The key for us will be avoiding teams with quick/scoring guards. That's our kryptonite without Harmon.

I don't think we give VIc enough credit for what he's done this year.

Over half the season without the best 2-way guard in the country and here we are #3 in NET with a chance to be a #1 overall seed.

With a freshman wing playing point for the first time ever, averaging 20 points, 6 boards and 5 assists

Charlie Crème elevated Ohio State to the 1 line over Iowa. I had a feeling, but Buckeyes are 8 in NET and now in prime position to succumb to the #2 ranked team curse this season

Yup. Trying to game a matchup with aggy in the postseason, a tradition that will finally die after this year

Holle is active hands tonight. Lots of deflections
