HOW IN THE HOLY FUCK CAN WE BE ON YEAR 14 OF OUR O LINE BEING FUCKING CLUELESS WHEN IT COMES TO BLOCKING ???

It hasn't been good since 2005. I have no idea why.

Speaking of titties.  This is a picture a friend of mine posted of her and her best friend at the game.

  • Murphy: 1. Shrugged off Texas’ pursuit of Ewers and still came to Texas. 2. Has size and arm strength and cool hair. 3. Was approached by multiple programs to transfer and didn’t

Let’s put our less mobile QB out there!

It’s not just mobility. Ewers is clueless about pressure and pocket presence. We need a QB that has some ability to feel pressure. Maybe that Maalik, maybe it’s not. But it certainly is not Ewers. He is simply not good enough to play QB here if we want to contend for anything

Does OL look as bad on TV as they look live? Also, what the hell is Sark trying to practice. Putting a game away with the run?  If so run your big guys on 3rd down between the tackles and not the same play that failed in the Alamo Bowl all night.

Probably worse

OLine sucked, Ewers made the problems worse.

Time for someone who can evade the pocket and make plays

well then we need a new coach.

Rough 1st half! Rice’s defense looks scrappy and can play at their level. 2nd half Horns need to dominate. Historically, the last two years didn’t show halftime adjustments, so I’ll sit back and wait for results.

Hook’em!!!

It's just a lack of effort and missed assignments. But that's on the coaching staff.

What?

No argument from me. That’s been obvious for a couple years

Disgusting O line performance.

Guys we play fucking Alabama next week and we're barely tolerating Rice

They'll probably be a little more motivated against Bama in Tuscaloosa and that makes a fuckton of difference.

Human nature is part of college football, and Rice doesn't inspire anyone's best effort.

Not sure you can just fix these line problems

I dunno. These are just breakdowns and not our OL getting beat. That's honestly more encouraging than our guys just sucking ass. But that's on Flood and Sark.

I guess my kids will just grow up with Texas never being good at football.

Yeah, but how will you explain this to them?

Deadass the 3rd quarter looks like this I’m heading back.

Payton Manning said half time adjustments are a myth. He said he never once in his entire football career at any level had "half time adjustments." He said every half time ever was the same thing, you go in, pee, eat some orange slices, then go back out and win the game.

Going back to last year, the 2nd half was always building on the lead, maintaining the intensity, and staying with what works. L-o-fucking-l

I'm usually good for it but I didn't bother taking it out this season.

How the fuck did Flood coach OL for Saban? Every one of these fuckers played last season and they're fucking up blocking assignments like freshmen in spring ball.

First half about as good as can be expected from the defense. As big of an embarrassing flaming bag of porch shit as could have happened offensively. Burt Auburn with more first half points than the offense. Against a Rice defense.

JT Daniels and Ewers are both reeking of 9.95'ers smelling their own farts and getting high af.

mine have. it sucks.

Ewers looks exactly the same as the second half of last season….  That’s not good, still floating deep balls, holding it too long, checking down and only throwing to Worthy.

tOSU beating Indiana 10-3 at half, so there's that.

Although my money would be on Indiana to easily handle rice.

How do you get the ball with 4:30 left and 3 timeouts yet run out of time on the drive? WTF kind of clock management is that?

It's not the time, it's the humidity.

Thought our OL was supposed to be a strength for once.

Ah well, maybe we end up covering but not promising for Alabama.

Not even worth getting drunk watching this shit.

I am. Gotta get reps in for next week.
Broken collar bone on Baxter

Well shit. I was watching this team thinking “we’re only a Freshman RB away from greatness!”

I keep hearing about how the WR corps is the best in the conference and up there in the whole nation.  Only Worthy can get open against Rice.

Auburn looks good so far...at least we're still the unofficial #KickerU

Only thing that has looked halfway decent on offense is the quick game. Not sure why, Sark doesn’t spread them out and use it

Worst offensive half of Sark’s tenure, given the opponent.

I mean, you know he's holding back so Alabama doesn't have current game tape on our "good stuff".

But this first half play makes you wonder if there is any good stuff at all.
O-line has regressed and QB play doesn't look improved at all.

Serious question, do these guys even practice in the off-season?

Like, how the fuck are you this shit after a full off-season of work?

Ewers looks worse.  O-line looks worse.  How is that possible?

You’re comparing a conference game to Rice lol

Come on guys we only need 12 field goals to hit 50 points.

It’s Rice.

Tell that to the offensive line and Ewers.

Rice's offense is supposed to be their strength this year. Think about that.

You’re telling me that Murphy can’t beat out Ewers?  Fuuuucccckkkk….

What a horrible first half for the offense. Defense is fine. I like Baxter, but why wasn’t Brooks starting? He obv is a playmaker. Has been since he’s been here.

Also, Shadeur > Quinn.

And Payton's full of shit, on that subject.

I worked very hard for a long goddamned time to earn having every Saturday off. When I was deployed, I sacrificed sleep to watch the Longhorns. Underneath my uniform, I wore my GameDay shirt for every game.

Don't make excuses, create solutions.

So I’m supposed to say we’re closed and just leave? I mean that’s fine with me

If we underachieve this year like at 7-5, then CDC better make an ultimatum to hire a real OC with the same philosophy as Sark. Of course he won’t and he’ll go down with the sinking ship after a bad SEC season debut and we’ll be set back AGAIN. I just hope Sark pulls his head from his ass and not let it get to that point…. but I’m not confident.
