I have a fairly normal modest sized suburban lawn in north Texas, and it is currently being dug up like crazy each night by an armadillo.

I back up to a green space, and a few houses down is a creek. I don't know that trying to trap it will do any good as I'm sure there are many armadillos around.

Anyone know of anything I can maybe spread around to discourage them from coming around? Or do I just have to wait until they eat all the grubs and move on?

I did spot the thing when leaving for work one day, fat little bastard.

You're right about the food.

I'd try a grub treatment. If there's no food they will stop digging for it.

A .22 also works
