An owner’s s only jobs should be to hire upper management and write the checks. They seem to to be in pretty good shape with the former and the NFL payroll rules pretty much take cares of the latter.

This is hilarious

Here’s the hilarious retelling of Texans FB Andrew Beck’s 86-yard kickoff return TD, as told by Tank Dell, Jimmie Ward and Blake Cashman.“I’m thinking like Beck’s about to go straight and get down. He had something else in plan, man.” Story: https://t.co/YcQnDBuLAt

In today’s @HoustonChron, J.J. Watt took out a full page ad to thank the city of Houston. He will be inducted in the Texans’ Ring of Honor on Sunday.

CJ Stroud — NFL offensive rookie of the month for September. It feels awesome to have hope again and to have a franchise QB who isn’t a sexual deviant.

CJ7️⃣ is just getting started 🔥

Ugh  Watt might double his league leading sack total on Sunday

The #Texans are down to their 3rd string LT, 3rd string LG, 3rd string center and 3rd string RT. I've never seen anything like it. https://t.co/hjlp5MwoNf via @houstonchron

Damn, false start. Watch us settle for the FG now.

Fuck the refs are fucking us hard, the pass was caught behind the LOS.

I don't hate these helmets but I do hate them with a jersey that is a different shade of red from the helmet.

It’s like our jerseys and how they’re much brighter than the burnt orange longhorn. Why does Nike do this?

Can't believe they gave them the return on that INT. How was he not down by contact tangled up with the Steelers WR?

It took 21 years of suffering, but the Texans might finally have their first good QB. And decent coach.

Notwithstanding that errant throw to the open Andrew Beck.

That wasn't on him as much as the pass protection, but the ball did look like it slipped out of his hand as he threw it.

The idiots we had as head coaches before would have let the clock run out before halftime. Now we have an aggressive coach and we score a FG with 42 seconds left with just 1 TO. Beautiful!!!

Catching up on Texans on DVR... they have Pittsburg's offense completely scouted. They're running routes for their WRs, they're checking to match their run plays, etc. The score could be worse too

One play I was confused about. Houston threw a RB screen (threw it forward, but behind the LOS), and they called an illegal lineman down the field. I thought that was allowed if it's behind the LOS, but I guess its not if the pass is forward? Or maybe the lineman was blocking before the pass was through?

I think you can only be 3 yards downfield and not 4?
