Houston first team to ever win 4 games or less 3 years in a row then win a playoff game.

Dallas first team win 12 games 3 years in a row and not reach a Championship game.

thanks Jerry

Upgrading the offensive line has to be the top priority.  Secondary probably second priority

Texans going forward is all line build IMO. Both lines, starting with the OL. Build a wall around Stroud.

And go get Derrick Henry for a year.

Houston's a young team that just wasn't ready for this.

Nice halftime adjustments, Texans...

That said, couldn't help but feel refs were helping to keep Balt. on top. The holding of receivers was every play.

Wonder where Brooks will go in the draft? Get him at a reasonable pick might be worth the long game.

Amazing to be where they are this year. That bodes well going forward.

Woof

At least this hasn’t come down to a Tucker winning FG. That would be hugely conflicting if it weren’t for him being a Raven.

Eh, it was a fun season at least. Lots of hope for the future, lots of draft picks to use, and 70 million in cap space to spend this off-season. Plenty of opportunities to improve and go 6-0 in the division next year shooting for a top 2 seed.

oh yeah? watch # 70

Need WRs that can separate. With Tank hurt we only had Nico, who a good DC can scheme away using double teams and blitzes. WRs should be tripping over themselves to catch the ball from Stroud, so let's see what we can do.

Wait, 274 passing ypg led the nfl this season? Lmao wtf

265.5-  Dolphins

Texans on the short list of teams to watch going forward in the NFL isn’t a place they are used to. A welcome development over past status/results.

Wasn't anywhere near the play on that TD run

Amazing how well coached the Texans are … Shep didn’t see them hold a single time.

#70 for Baltimore has literally done that 20 times in this game.

I'm not saying texans havent held. The difference is texans have been flagged for it. Ravens haven't.

The Texans have been keeping my spirits up. It’s going to suck not to have any more games for 8 months.

Um, your baseball team is one of the odds on favorites to win the World Series.

Again.

I mean, the Ravens are the better team.
That being said, it would be nice if 1.) The Texans left tackle wasn’t a complete retard (sorry) false starting to try and get an edge on the edge rusher and 2.) the refs calling this evenly. It’s not UT level fuckery. I’ll state that. But the NFL wants the Ravens vs Bills or Chiefs matchup. The calls would reflect that.

again. This isn’t Big12 fuckery at all.

Again.

We still need another bat, preferably a LH OF, to win another WS in my opinion

Difference in the game was the LOS. We need to pour money and draft picks into fixing both.

I would also sign Henry to pair with Singletary, and draft Brooks to let him recover for a year then take over for Henry. Also, need another WR in addition to a returning Tank Dell.

Damn good season, the pieces are there and there's a window to do great things the next few years.

This Is it. ^^

Was a great season. Fun to have a promising future

i want the OL from duke

Nice to feel positive after a playoff loss.

One momentum killer was the short kickoff to Duvernay.

Miss the field goal right before half then give Baltimore the ball at midfield to start the 2nd was brutal.

I’m enjoying this team. They remind me of Jimmy’s early teams where you see so much promise.

Unlike the current Cowboys and their continuing malaise.

That season was fun as hell.
Stroud & Demeco & Caserio did some serious work. Foundation is set.

100%. I’m back onboard

I don’t want to use the weather excuse, but the Texans looked a warm weather/indoor team yesterday. Hawaiian kicker is freezing his ass off so he misses a relatively easy field goal and chases it a short kickoff. That’s a 10 point swing.

Defense looked cold and didn’t want to hit Baltimore’s RBs in the second half.

The future is indeed bright, but the team needs to win enough games in the regular season to stay home in January. If not, this shit is going to keep happening in KC, Buffalo, or Baltimore.

Any possible free agents the Texans would target? Or are we mainly focusing on the draft to upgrade?

They have cap space (projected $74m), but  resigning their own free agents may gobble a lot of it. Schultz (~$11.5), Rankins (~$9.5), Singletary (~$5), Nelson (~$10), Noah Brown (~$5), Fairbairn (~$4.5) plus signing bonuses, per sportrac predictions.

Seeing the schedule next year we might be in the same position as this year at 10-7. I’d say 11-6 is probably the best we can do. Just don’t go backwards like the jags did this season after being the next “big thing”.
