October 8, 20232 yr I really hated kicking that first field goal on 4th and 1 inside the redzone. That one might have come back to bite us in the end
October 9, 20232 yr Did they ever fire that douchebag from New England? I haven't been paying that much attention beyond the games. Easterby? Yes, they did.
October 9, 20232 yr The analysis on the game today is that Houston determined that they weren't going to lose to the Atlanta run game and overplayed the run with a single high safety and eight man box and flooding the middle of the field with defenders,, so Atlanta attacked that with play-action all game outside the hashes They were 9/10 for 147 yards on play-action Atlanta lost 11.5 EPA (points) to fumbles today, so the game really shouldn't have been close
October 12, 20232 yr Coming up with route adjustments live in game with OC then relating to the TE for a touchdown in crunch time… Pretty amazing shit for any rookie.
October 15, 20232 yr Author Nice profile article about the best special teams coordinator in the NFL.
October 15, 20232 yr Nice run by Pierce, but even better with the dogpile moving him forward a few more yards. NOLA run D looks terrible.
October 15, 20232 yr Beautiful!! I can’t help but be excited by CJ Edited October 15, 20232 yr by TonyTexas
October 15, 20232 yr Author Fuck yes!! Two questionable play calls by Slowik on 1st and 2nd and thankfully cash in with a TD.
October 15, 20232 yr 3 minutes ago, Dutchrudder said: Nice pocket, good throw, CJ looking good. Texans have only given up 11 sacks in 5 1/2 games. Pretty impressive especially with the makeshift OL they’ve had for much of the season.

CJ is already in the top half of QBs in the league. And Watson was very good for us until the perv came out. And we were quick to cut bait. Edited October 15, 20232 yr by TonyTexas
October 15, 20232 yr Author See we have Rig 12 refs today. Greenard was being held like crazy and no call.

And Watson was very good for us until the perv came out. I was paying attention to the Cleveland game and was thinking of their backup QB. Sorry I have brain fog from Covid. Look at my edited post. I wasn’t think of CJ I was thinking of the backup for browns, PJ. Sorry. Go back and read edited post. Wasn’t thinking about Texans.
October 15, 20232 yr I think Texans win their division they keep playing like this. What an awesome turnaround. Sorry I messed up the thread. Thought I was in the NFL thread earlier as well. Big duh moment for me. Covid brain fog is real but I’m challenged anyway. Lol.
October 15, 20232 yr Author That was a crappy offensive series by the Texans. Singletary needs to be the primary RB. Pierce is not running well.
October 15, 20232 yr RT pushed Cam towards the QB lol... Bad move, but CJ nearly hit Woods there. Still a lot of room to grow, but this is the first time I'm hopeful of this teams future since Kubiak was around.
October 15, 20232 yr Author NO GOOD!! Come on now offense. Let’s have a long drive and score some fucking points! Edited October 15, 20232 yr by Macklemore
October 15, 20232 yr We need better RZ play-calling. I never understand going to heavy packages at the 1-yard line to invite 11 defenders into the same box. I did like the call to go from heavy to spread and force the NO defenders into space. Just need better execution from Schultz and Stroud. Need points on this drive.
October 15, 20232 yr This is like watching Texas from last year. 2nd half offense can't execute and goes into a shell, turtling games away. You should never try to burn clock in the NFL unless you are 3+ scores in the 4Q. Just too easy to score and the Texans defense, while much better, is still not great.
October 15, 20232 yr Author 1 minute ago, Dutchrudder said: Some poor play calling here. Needed to run it. Our offense has been shit the 2nd half. Playcalling and execution have sucked.
