Seems like a lot under the circumstances. This will be a good test of focus all the way around.

The old 36.75-9.75 game.

I am willing to bet that's not the exact final score. But basically those numbers are the Rice final. Seems like the perception is that this Texas team has a stout defense and an offense that might just do what it needs to do.

We shall see. I have a feeling it’s more like the team is Neo when he figures out what he can really do.

The heat might be. But Quinn’s new diet will have him ready.

We know what we have in the starters, now it's time to get meaningful snaps for the backups. I don't care what the final margin of victory is, I hope we get up by three scores and have backups playing from the middle of the second quarter.

Will be a boring routine win. Probably more akin to Rice but less sloppy in the first half. Maybe 42-13 or something. Lots of backups playing 3rd/4th. Maybe even Arch

Feels like Texas has already been rotating pretty liberally.

I’d like to see QB 2 and 3 getting snaps with a full speed offense, not just handing off.

Yup. Reminded me of the Iowa State game last year here after destroying OU. We were like an 18 point favorite and damn near lost to that block head QB.

I was told the Big 12 runs through Laramie?

I think Texas comes out red hot behind an electric crowd and lays it on the Cowboys. Second stringers will be getting PT late in the 3rd quarter. This team is different.

Wyoming is going to shorten the game and milk the play clock, that's how Bohl likes to play.  Looks like TE's are the favorite target for the QB.

I want to see the team show up prepared and focused and executing plays with fire in their belly. The days of playing down to opponents are over. Rip their hearts out in the first half and let the backups try and impress the coaches for the rest of the game.

Wyoming has a decent defense (would probably be middle of the pack in the Big 12) but they should struggle mightily to move the ball.

Wouldn’t be a surprise at all if it’s relatively close for a couple quarters and we win 34-10 or some such. There is going to be an emotional letdown. It’s human nature. Just have to handle your business.

I want some Murphy, at the helm, for 8 min in the 3rd. Then see Manning in the 4th, but at least put 2nd team playmakers and surrounding cast to support him being on the field.

Score be damned, get them some time! I’d rather win 35-7, with the bench playing, than 63-3 with Ewers in the whole game.

Hook’em!!!

I think they'll have our attention thanks to the Techtards.

I want it to be an emotional let down like we had against Missouri in 2008 after the OU game.

I went to that game with a Mizzou fan who was happy that his team was for once good enough to have a shot…

Classic trap game. Go ahead and hang 60 for the lulz

If we win by less than 30, this board will melt down.

Something like this but I’d also add from having actually watched Wyoming in the Tech game, the Texas defense is an absolute nightmare matchup for them. Their offense is run heavy, kind of a poor man’s K State. I’d be surprised if they scored more than 7 before Texas is going to third and fourth string.

Line has climbed to 29 in some spots

Vegas is trying to rat poison us

I think we can cover if there's no post Tide letdown..remains to be seen.

Murphy with a td to cook and manning with a td to moore would be good.
Or Niblett. Think he was the one who did a post game backflip to release pent up energy.

Wyoming's QB is banged up and may not play. Not surprising.

The team eats PBJ+banana sandwiches and we die on the toilet?

Texas goes into halftime leading 20-3, starters are out after 3 at 34-3, and some garbage scores make it a 41-17 final.

Uhhh, if we can't figure who was responsible for a holding call on a crucial 4th down play while winning by 30 this board will melt down.

You think Joey is willing to help out a fellow big 12 mate?

The reverse.  He's on the phone with the Wyoming coach right now.

I'm fucking pissed we only beat Alabama by 10.  Fucking underachievers.

Garbage time:

Murphy goes 7/10 86yds with two TDs.

Arch goes 5/8 77yds with 1 TD.

White hands off 10/10 times for 55yds

Surly goes nuts on who should be the backup, who will be transferring and who missed a block.

Meanwhile Horns win by 30.

At 29, I would consider betting against us, especially if their QB is good to go. I'm thinking the game will be a bit like Rice, 37-10.

Wyoming showed a lot of heart against tech. They are a tough team that's not going to rollover. But the whole time I'm looking at those brown and yellow uniforms and thinking I really want a bomb pop.

You mean Banana Pop.  Bomb Pops are red, white, and blue.
